A defense system that destroys up to 200 class 1, 40 class 2 and 4 class 3 ships. In each class fight it gets one attack, so it varies in the damage depending on the number of class battles. This building cannot be rebuilt once it is destroyed.

Lord Bahamut: beacuse this building is in true a BIG help and you can several point with that building
Captain Starlight: It cant be rebuilt cos it was designed as a newb protection device, not an all round ship/weapon

I believe the DA is near pointless especially with players wiping out an entire base with 2K penguins... thats 2K C1... the DA can only fire a maximum time of 4 times if your lucky only getting 200 C1 max... The DA also doesn't fire until after the enemy has struck the C4... maybe up the amount of C1 it can wipe out and make it fire first in the C4 battle... otherwise the DA is worthless...
MicroJak: I don't think it's pointless. It's helped me a number of times in battle :).
T2: I always try to take out a persons DA. It can mean the difference in winning or losing a base battle with 2 evenly matched fleets.
It also gives the defender the edge and it's for that very reason I try to eliminate it first strike. The DA can give a defender an extra 240 points worth of destruction minimum if the attacker has a complete fleet

some times it's better just to stay quiet, and don't say nonsense like this!!! O|

you have always to compromise...or you go and attack a player with all your ships and leave the basic 1.1.1, that works if your base is attacked by a single fleet, if not, you can't expect the DA to obliterate all enemy ships!! the DA is just an extra, a good one! if you want to maintain your DA intact, you have to have a good defensive set up, there's no perfect defense, but with the right combination of ships, your base will hold against some setups, and with the DA, make some points out of it...look at things as a whole, combinations...a bounty alone does nothing, with a hammer, hell brakes loose!!
dumenop: i think the DA is good as it is, but it should be rebuildable
MicroJak: I don't think it should be rebuildable, unless you had some sort of credit system.. that way you could incorperate credits into the game more. Maybe every 20 credits you have the choice to build a defensive array (of course, once one is built you can't build another one ;)).

That would get more people inviting people to the game too.
Cloudgatherer: Ok, Let me apologize in advance because these are prolly newb questions but I need a little clarification on this one.

1.) Does the "D.A" fire at the beginning or the end of class combat? I understand syntax it for the most part but I am not yet completely fluent in reading it.

2.) How many ships in each class does the "D.A" actually destroy?

The description states:

However the syntax reads:

To my untrained eye the syntax is in comflict with the description which would suggest that the "D.A" destroys 50 C1, 10 C2 and 1 C3 ship(s). If anyone could give me a certain answer it would be mighty appreciated.
admin: the damage, that can be done by the array is quadrupled.
if you only have the array at your base, it will fight against all classes separeately and destroy up to the maximum amount each class battle,
so it can be 4 times as much, if your own classes 1,2 and 3 are empty.
