Wormholes are shortcut passages in space which connect distant places. They are special deformations of the time-space-continuum.
Major wormholes
There are two major wormholes which connect two distant planetary systems:
Nano Pyros 488/494/44 Keverland 437/499/47
your fleets will be travelling 100 times the normal speed (so a Mothership will travel with transwarp 500) but the entrances are guarded by two apostate spheres.
so if anyone dares to attack them, their fleets will just vanish.
ATTENTION: !!! any battle against the keeper of the wormhole will lead to loss of score !!!
if you use the wormholes with your fleets on defense , they will let you pass
Player wormholes
Players can build own wormholes on pre-warp planetary systems. These are connected to all other player wormholes in the galaxy. Fleets using a travelling a wormhole passage will fly 2.5 times faster than normal.
To avoid battles with the wormhole-stations[1] you should use the defense attitude
