I know it is in the manual but the comcept of why a 1/1/1 fleet will save your base during a single fleet attack. Provide numerous examples.
The concept of 1000 fighters vs. 10 fighters and nobody wins is completely foreign to most people who first start. I don't mean the finer points of who shoots first, wins 1 point but the overall concept of when all ships in 1 class of either side fights the battle is over for that sub- class.
Another thing to highlight is why 7 fighters and 3 mosquitoes wins against 10 fighters despite the fact mosquitoes have no firepower.

Emphasis on battlling while online and the falacy of offline eta's on targets.

Actually 90% of ST still needs this lesson, I have not battled an online player in over 4 months now

Probably not if the target is also offlline (also > 90% of the time even if you give a 1 day incoming warning). Although anyone trying that on me hits a single cruiser and finds out that *doh* there is a cruiser somewhere in my fleets

On the emphasis of not multiing....probably too lengthy and redundant to explain that you should not cheat in a game (is one reason why we go, or went at one time, to elementary shcool unless morals have been completely abandoned and they just dont teach that anymore--->*possible* )

so this is a conclusion so far. we need to make a plot out of it for the video:

fleet movement and organisation:
-how to build a fleet
-what not to build ( like 18 MS )

start an attack:
-Explain in detail, conflict timers, attack and defense attitudes, newbie protection, and thier significance...as well as all the above
-battlling while online/offline
-eta's on targets give an incoming warning

battle system explanation:
-why a 1/1/1 fleet will save your base during a single fleet attack.
-The concept of 1000 fighters vs. 10 fighters and nobody wins
-why 7 fighters and 3 mosquitoes wins against 10 fighters despite the fact mosquitoes have no firepower
-teach that 50 cruisers do not beat 4000 fighters
-one player shoots first

research:
-show what to research first

finding targets:
-DSP use
-alliances, scoreplanets, and 'IT'

why you SHOULDNT be a multi (or share acounts)

evolution and a eras

Yes that would be a very good start to show all new players what to do .
I hope to see this video soon , so our new players would stay and enjoy the game . I like the Idea of having 300+ members again
