Doing respawn puts you in a difficult situation because you appear in middle of space rounded by planets with much more tecnology and you just so basic, when a player respawn should be able to take at least one basic research into the new account, i don't know, it's just my oppinion

you are right, but with only standard ships you can destroy an enemy, so isnt unfair

Well that is fun part of it. As well as some guys (or gals) apeared when u were on 50% of evolution. And they will again. Now start at begining of round is not advantage. As matter of fact: What begining?

Also, nice thing is that ur "ethernal" enemy can be respawn on 3 h from you, and u don't know it, untill u scan that area.

can you counter this by seting up a probe(wide-range scan probe ) at 1 secter out to allways see new people or will it only take one scan?

yea. i think that the re-finding of all enemy coords each respawn can get pretty tedious. maybe if probes have continuous scanning capabilities....

for the beginning i think it would be ok, if the the first basic research at the beginning only takes 2 hours.

and there will be a standard fleet for the beginning that you can choose from (for experienced players).
a complete fleet setup, that you have when you start, but only the ships, not the researches for it and you will have no newbieprotection, if you use it.

2 things:
1. Does that mean "we" will not have da?
2. Why, I mean ships. U can build them in 10h, and break protection.

That basic research thing, i don't uderstadnd.

I have no idea why basic fleets should have a problem finding the right target and even fight advanced ships with a standard fleet could be an advantage, depending how u seek ur enemy. Respawn is ok

The only problem with the repawning sytem i see is the amount of time it takes to research new tech, if any thing that needs to be a little bit lower for i've not beable to research every thing befor the round repawns. A nd i'm not saying by alot but a smaller amount of time would help with having to deal with neighbors/enemy's that have a higher amount of tech.

@SirTazMan
Ya, u are rigth, but this way you can try new races, u get new neighbours (read: new flesh to hunt). And u couldn't ever change ur race w/o restarting research!
