Hi all, I've been back playing ST for a few days during college break,
I just wanted to say I forgot how awesome the game was. it's so immersive and well balanced, simple yet detailed, and the new ship art and the new graphics interface look really brilliant. Hats off to you admins, geniuses! this is an incredible game and I only hope that it now gets the membership it deserves. Shame to see only 30 so players when bull games like Runescape have millions. I really do think you have the platform now to increase players.
So it's been great fun revisiting a really integral part of my childhood. I'm 17 now ST, not 12  . Who's still around anyway? What happened to Mighty? Knight of Truth? DragonLilly? |

Really glad to see you return, MJ. Are you planning on sticking around for longer?
Mighty, KoT and DL are all gone.
From the old players T2, Buzzy, Marlito, Dave and Renee are still around. Not much happening out there though...

how about starting an alliance to beat the new MAFIA alliance in the colony game?
they already have conquered a great part of the galaxy, and someone has to stop them.

Sure I'll stick around, looking forward to seeing the effect of changes to implemented into the game, the ones who left are missing out I never played the colony game previously so I might have a go, offer some sort of a challenge

btw just checked the leaderboard. there are 6 players in the game total that have more than 0 points...lame

It is great to hear you are all grown up my friend. have a great summer, and spend more of it outside. you'll never get your time back and 17 years old is just the perfect age to enjoy everything that life has to offer. you have been missed little jack.

Hey Mighty, would just like to say it means a hell of a lot for you to reply - fantastic to hear from you again. I'll follow your words of wisdom, always good to get out more and enjoy life Hope yours is going well too.
@Senor ah I know, should start seeing the player count rise though, can't believe I'm 2nd after about 2 weeks and a measily 3000 points :/

nice to see you. it would be so nice if some veterans will rejoin st. after some years of administration lazyness, we are back and working so hard to pull some players into the game. esp. the empire game should be accesible for new players.
50+ active players - that would be great

Nice to see you back MJ. To all the other new"Old" players as well. I'm not real active and I build a good target so it's easy to hit me while I'm off line.
The new look of the game is also great and I think I'll experiment with the colony game when time permits. Seems old habits die hard however and I still want to get a good fighting fleet researched before I devote research time to colony ships.
I've watched quite a few "kids" grow up here at this game. It's really neat to see and nice that they come back to visit. |
