Ship Design Contest

How about a ship design contest? It would provide a creative side game which might provide for new game content. We could run the contest the same time length as the era so they start and end the same time. Have 1 winner for each race. Have the prize as the ship becoming a part of the game in the future. Of course there would only be a winner if the ship was appropriate to be put into the game. Perhaps limit entries to only 1 entry for each race per person.

Like I said it would provide a creative sidegame that might get people more into the game, provide a way for new content that the community helped make, and most importantly I think it would be fun

This would be fun, and a 'contest' kind of thing should happen.

Once you get 15 researches in the ship, you can create you own for 4 credits (or something like that). You can design it yourself and, it will appear in this forum once it's complete (make sure to click 'start forum topic' on the manual).

Still. This game needs something.

Yeah sounds good I'm sure a lot of spacetrace players have skills in photoshop and stuff. I'm teaching myself Blender 3D for this purpose atm. Perhaps the winner can get 10 credits. The pictures could be used for the playing cards as well.
