OMG your a racist, i like to play the travelars the most, the ships i can make are awesome, but other than that i like the kazuuula cause of the choices you can get and you get e-ray and myciloid which are two very good races also. But i would say that each race has a good fleet that can be countered by another races fleet and so on and so forth, but im not sure, im still new.

it really depends on what you like. every race has good combo possibilities. in that sence the game is pretty balanced. i prefer playing either e-ray or kazu because of the strong c1 combos and evaporators and don't like nanites that much. then again nanites have cool ships like troikas and the hammer-bounty combo. or if you like easy score from new players go mycilloid and build a swank. just go through the technologies of different races and see what kinds of ships sound good for you.
it really depends more on how you play than it depends on what race you play.
it's just too bad that we have like 75 or so active players. it's increasingly difficult to be a new player when 30 percents of total players are vets and semi-vets. it's especially painful in a game like spacetrace that is easy to play, but very hard to master. the gap between new and old players is pretty big and basically the only way for a new player to learn and stay in the game is to join an experienced alliance.
we need to get Bono to do a live concert wearing a spacetrace t-shirt. bang! 1000 more players. joke's a joke, but i actually have something planned to promote spacetrace. might take a while and might never work, but we'll see.

Here are my 5 cents worth of opinions:

e-ray and mycilloid are easiest for newbs.
e-ray have strong strong defense and can hit hard especially in c1/c2 after some research of human and kazuula tech. some more research can giv you nice offense/defense also in c3.
mycilloids can hit really hard, especially swank. Some research and you have those interesting nanite things available, as well as the very good kazuula main ships.

Kazuula is IMO best potential, but takes much research time after the initial research of basic kazuula stuff. At the end of evo kazuula have lots of excellent offense/defense options thanks to e-ray and mycilloid tech.

Human is IMO bad at beginning of evo. Then, when the other tech is incorporated, it becomes a LOT better. Especially defense is bad for humans first.

Nanite is IMO the most interesting, with plagues, launchers, carriers etc. Lots of indirect stuff that makes for tactical triumphs.
I wouldn't say that it is easy to play nanite, but guys like blackmagic sure scored well with it

IMO human and nanite are the most difficult to play in general, and especially new players shoud avoid human since they don't have a clear research plan their first evo(s).
I think mycilloid is easiest to score with if you are very active. But watch out, mycilloids aren't the strongest on defense
E-ray and kazuula can put up a nice defense, so this is perhaps a good choice for semi-active.

I see a trend... most annoying players always tell the others to stop being annoying...

Nice avatar jack..

humans are the best, mycilloids are the easiest to score with when you have low evo... nanites are great for a multi account if you know how to use them...
