spacetrace Had an idea a few weeks ago, maybe even longer ago on IRC. The idea was that any vets could join this. Then 'normal' players from spacetrace could challalenge these vets. If they accept this then a 'normal' player from psacetrace gets to battle a vet. If he were to win then he would get a star( don't remember where). This could help players to learn the game and this coud be a lot of fun. I myself would like to participate if it would be organised.
It would be nice if spacetrace could post to this topic to maybe add things I left out about the idea and it would be nice if the rest of you also write down your opinion about this here. _________________

I think we can discuss this and some players are just known to be vets( I think it's safe to say that for instence Shade and RobertRoy are vets). _________________

Total Ownage in my opinion would be considered a Vet league. I'm somewhat happy they did not show with the current influx of their former members as I cannot take the time to attempt war against them. They are such a tantalizing target and challenge for me. I do enjoy fighting them. After all, that's who I cut my teeth against when I was learning the game.
Depending on the general personal scores of the NoStars members, there is hope that a new team could be formed to oppose TO's dominance. Sky was a real keen player when he was learning and I'll bet this war between them and FG will sort the the wheat from the chaff. I'll keep my eye on the top 10 list of players to see what rises to the top.
There may be hope finally that somewhere around 10 players that are not TO may be fielded for a future, extremely aggressive, take no prisoners type round. Hopefully, I'll have time to participate if that were to become a reality.

Haha.. T2.. you interested in joining the fight?
Right now it's us against pretty much the rest of the alliances.. FG, TOC, TLS pretty much outnumber us. You keeping just one player busy would give us plenty of space for taking them down _________________

Sky stop it. You can keep on boasting about how many alliances you are at war with, fact remains that both TLS and TOC aren't dangerous.
This will not make yourself look good, only like a man who can't put his words into actions. A man who keeps on bragging about how tough he is but in the end he still fails horribly at the battlefield.
The only war you have to fight is that one versus Fools Gold.
Our numbers don't differ much, your alliance members have managed to do quite good at scoring. And most of all, your members are quite high up their evo.
So please show me that you are a bit of an adult who can do his own battles instead of crying like a girl.
I wish you all the luck in this war. Have fun and do your best. I will.

No point, most of the Vets that play just noob bash and rat pack. Refusing to accept the fact that, the noob bashing and taking points from the noobs in the only reason there isnt more players.
Matter of fact with all the flaming that happens its no wonder that anybody visits the forum anymore.
Any way that all i will have to say for a while

Or there aren't many people who fit the picture of a spacetrace player. Due to multiple changes the game has lost a lot of his old players and has gotten less attractive.
Stop coming with non-arguments, repeating the same old useless reasons. All the specific training alliances are worthless. They have never achieved any good.
-TO- Academy for example turned out to be a group of -TO- admiring middle-class players that only did it to look better, next to nobody was ever trained..
Really, there are enough anonymous players that suddenly seem to just get it, who think of new creative ways to play and who you will find somewhere in the top ten while nobody knew..
We need those players, they will come by themselves. It is a naieve idea to believe in the illusion of any form of collectively organised structure.

What about having 'mini grandwars'. For example you can have 5 vets that volenteer and 5 players that volenteer. We could make 2 alliances for this thing, and the wars could take 7 days. The alliances of the members are not effected, the only thing that could get effected is your score. Maybe this is a better idea then a 1 vs 1 battle? _________________

LOL Sky...personally, I would love a good hard battle against TO as previously stated but, I have neither the time or the knowledge of 10 players that have the ability AND are willing to make the commitment to compete against the TO team and possibly win.
This is an opportunity for you to do assessment on your team and determine the strongest of your players. It is also a challenge for you to get to know TO's potential strength's and weaknesses. I cannot profess to know them all however, having studied TO intently, I could tell you where some of FG's are currently from looking at the line-up .
BTW, as a side note, nice to see you back Weyelyn. I hope you enjoy your round !
Don't worry about TLS and WOC, concentrate on Connor's team and get to know them. They have talent and it may turn into a war of who can stay up the latest or setting your clock to wake up for battles. Fighting these guys demand you are online for the battles.
My best tip for you .... Concentrate on not giving away points rather than trying to make points. a 500 point gain average per battle is acceptable and difficult to achieve at this level of competition. The only way to do it is to avoid giving up points in your "down" times. Force FG to show all their players and find the weak spot. This will be difficult with your current number of players as FG can hide their weaker spots through non-participation. Maybe a invader ship war is what you need right now. That's up for you to decide.
I have only time to keep research going and read the forums atm. I'll hit back anyone who hit's me but I cannot make the commitment it is going to take to fight a war.
Keeps me busy reading the forums atm |

Perhaps Sky you should canvass the Fallen Stars. Zoph is a good man and certainly no-one's fool. I know his team along with AL12 will also become a place where 2 or 3 players will have what it takes to compete in the level of game you are facing.
