I think it's a reasonably fair fight Vrictus. Ojavi and his 3 guys can own you at a point loss to themselves for a while but you have a backup available as well if needed.
It just means you have to be at the top of your game to avoid getting snowed under and keep collecting the points they try to give you.
Both you and they know that, on a 1 on 1 conflict they wouldn't stand as good a chance of supressing your base from an "alliance team" point of view.

When the new round starts and alliance scores get reset, they will probably try to give out less points as an alliance and be more careful about losing their personal battles.

check out the graph stats and put MH next to Wicked-Reloaded. Then put in 1 day plot. Watch how they split

This noob rat-packing of vets is a fast way for a small alliance to get to the top. The 1000's Points scored by the smaller alliance can not be stripped off even if the vet bases get eventually buried.
However stripping points off the rat-pack by seperating, staking, ambushing and taking them out one at a time is easy enough. This espescially goes for any multi spamming attempts.
DavAlan still reflects on ReneƩ's "great defeat" when those 3 multi's spammed her 100 penguins, 50 combat rc's, 1 cyclops, DA and TWN under with 3 waves of 200 evaps each for a 10k point loss to themselves (or "his-self")

In reality, this "noob spamming", or "multi-spamming" (or any other attempts at rat-packing) is MOST OF ALL...unfair to the rest of SpaceTrace...as you got one alliance getting 1000's of fast easy points and getting so far past the others that the next evo "winner" is usually determined within 10 days of the round start and nothing will bring them down not even defeating them in a war with a flag capture

My highest scoring evo in ST and ironically the round I used almost no real strategy in, I noob spammed back. 90% score came from such battles, 10% from real players (who I hit accidently, ROFL ).

IMHO, noobs and multi's DETERMINE who gets to the top for the most part. just spam em up there and no one can compete.

Also IMHO, this takes most of the significance out of the rankings.

I whole heartedly agree with Dave and Renee's comments.
Points are just not that easy to get from experienced players in my experiences.
I have not been as active lately due to a 'puter crash and RL responsibilities, however, this has always been an ongoing problem.
High score means not much in my game. The records were all made from scores harvested from newb's.
The records at the score planets, on the other hand, do count for something IMHO.

Just my 2 pennies worth.
