Can you predict which fleet you will fight first when you go to a sector with more than one? Is it random? Does the # of ships or total MP of the fleet matter?
I know a guy who has a huge base fleet and always keeps a tiny fleet 1 at home. I'm wondering if I should get a doomstar and kill the big one, or if I need to wipe out the small fleet first. I can easily make a counter-fleet for one or the other, but not both... so it depends which one I fight first. Pirate flagship would be good here =)
I didn't even research these ships yet but I would like to know for a future attack
I looked at my last few br's to see if there was a pattern, but I can't find one |

Research: name: pirate scout
description: this lookout ship finds the smallest fleet in the current sector and guides your fleet to it. you will fight first against the fleet with the lowest mp, and then the next lowest, until you have fought against all fleets. so you can plan hit and run attacks with precision. once the pirate scout is destroyed, fleet battles are determined normally.

nice idea, but i think it will change the whole game - there should be some luck still - so you have to calculate al eventualities for an attack - the defender is in the worse position anyway and if you could determine the order then you would have to be afraid all the time if you dont log into your account.
i think it is quite a good character of the game, that you can still make points with some luck when you are sleeping |

i on the other hand not only like the idea but also think its a good factor to the game and a very human-pirate-style ship.
like other ships it can be very well in some situations but useless in others... so i can not yet part the opinion that it will change the whole game. you pay the price to cfhange your luck in some situations making the ganme more strategical - i think... i agree with the values of that ship and what is does. i dont- on the other hand - think that its so important that is has to be build but if there are more players who think it useful why not build it.....
please post your opinions...
peace

I think...
Well I actually don't know what I think about this ship. It would make fights more calculatable but I don't think it would make a too big difference as you in most cases still need the same amount of ships like without. |

I really think the fleets shouldn't be random
i had lost score 2 times on this
i used a small fleet to destroy the ships in the base and a big one to destroy the buildings and the small one attacked the bulds and big one attacked the ships so i lost score
please make it unrandom if posible admin!!

If the battle order wouldn't be random, the attacker would be to much in the advantage.

if you have 2 fleet going there one will clean out the war ships and 2nd one will attack the buildings (but u gotta have dsp to have the exact number of ships in his fleet)

clear...

Why did the small one fight the base? Because the big one fought first? This would mean you sent them both exactly at the same moment... You should send them with at least a minute between.

I thought of doing this, but manytimes people change there fleet order, so if i don't have both my fleets in same moment i can't change ships between them

But it's the only way to control which fleet fights first. You can also send them both at the same time and then stop one fleet a few minutes before it arrives... |
