So...the Grand War comes to a close.

What was everyone's opinion of it ?

I thought it was fun but I think it was too long to stay intense and interest was waning near the end.
I think 1 week duration would be easier to devote the time needed.

Anyone else's comments?

Well it was fun , but to bad some players dropped out because of their score , wich made this war unballanced . there for the duration was to long . I enjoyed it anyway

Great victory for Blue Team

The competition was tough...tougher than some thought. Not near the intensity of "the good old days" when there were 20+ people in an alliance, so I've been told.

The war was open to all willing participants however so... play with the men or go home.

Special accolades to the new players that participated such as Ryse, The NANITE, Opeaci and a couple others who fought very well throughout.
I know it was tough on you guys so congratulations on finishing.
I'm sure you learned a couple new tricks or things not to try again.

Perhaps KoT and MicroJak could organize another war where the level of skill is not quite as intense as this one was.
I would like to see this happen more frequently in ST as it was fairly easy to organize, the rules were observed and no alliance ended up at the bottom of the rankings (except for RED TEAM )

Don't be too tough on them Failtrip1 ...just make sure they are not on the same team together

Seriously guys, Orcus summed it up. It was not about your personal score, it was about your ability to help out with having a TWN, 3 more probes, a blocker fleet or 2.

I think the biggest problem is you guys will not take any advice or follow recommendations given. Also...until you learn how to not give points away, you will never learn how to take points.

Lay off the idea that more tech is more power.

More tech is is like getting a bigger hammer. If you still cannot swing the smaller one, no sense in getting a bigger one. You just get creamed for more points. When you can fight with basics and not lose points, you are then ready to try out some new ships....1 or 2 at a time !

Well, I didn't do that in it, so, I quite liked it.

I guess I'm looking for an alliance, but the the only question is, is DEFIANCE regrouping?

T2, i think you have a point there. So pretty much same concept, except stronger players are denied entry. MJ can be Blue leader, and im not sure who to pick for red, if i cant find anyone, il do it myself.

P.S: This was fun!

P.P.S: Calling all Defiance members, espesiacly the leader, to regroup

P.P.P.S: MJ, please message me, so we can start to organize

P.P.P.P.S: South Park rules!

P.P.P.P.P.S: er... ive run out if things to say......
