I am getting more and more doubts... I know NeutralZone is allways really busy with fighting multies and other stuff, but it seems to become like last year's april...

At that time, TFP and NZ were making thousands of points out of their so-called multie hunting. Fact is that instead of blocking the people (Production invaders, or simply keeping their base flattened) that wanted to get the points by sending ships to their bases, they went out for the easy fleets and got them theirselves.

You didn't create the easy point fleets yourself, but you guys are the ones raiding the farms. Isn't that just as low as multing yourself?

Yes I've had contacts with David and Renee myself about fighting multies, but all I've ever done is fighting the ones collecting the points.

But come on! Iuz the evil at a rel. score of 120k! KoT could almost beat that twit.

I am getting more and more doubts about what is worth more. Fighting off multies to avoid them ruining the game and getting huge scores while they don't deserve it. Fact is that the hunters themselves are contaminating our beautifull Hall Of Fame theirselves.

Is the juice worth the sqeeze? I don't think it is worth it anymore. We are creating an ever bigger problem....

What is the use for me to spend hours and hours each week, every day on this game trying to reach a nice respectable score and then see some loser get easily way more than that.

I guess I am not just speaking for myself. Also the regular player must be feeling this way right?

So u mean that they are like the crusaders from the movie? They are going on a 'holy 'goal, but meanwhile, they are stealing and plundering the innocent.

Not the innocent. They're picking away the easy points before the multies themselves claim them.

Interesting Arguments Rob. i must say i agree with you about 50%. I dont really like the fact that NeutralZone is getting about 85-95% of their points from multies, yet.. i dont like multies in the top ten and spaming.

Another argument you could bring into this is that "technically" multies that are proven and found out are suppose to be banned. But the admin doesnt seem to ban that many people, that are more than obviously multies. So thus we have NeutralZone and they have been serving ST for a while now.

I have worked with NeutralZone before and i like what they do, but how they do it is not what i like all so much, which brings us to Rob's argument.

Anyways what i think NeutralZone should do is be a noob training alliance. Being a noob and fighting multies is a great practice, that is how i got the basics done when i first joined the 'The Nerds'. lol.. they were an awesome alliance until Windtalker suddenly became inactive after a surgery. We still dont know what became of him. :'( I hope he is well.

But anyways, Rob i do agree with you for the most part, but you should know to 'take actions into your own hands or they wont get done'. So what im saying is to start a alliance of many good people and challenge NZ. 'Why?' you may ask... i dont know but it sounds like it could be fun, and it would give you somewhat a chance to catch up to their score.

I still think it's scary, i mean 488600 points? Maybe i'm paranoid, but there
can be some kind of plot, multis and NZ working together...

The easiest way for a multi to get easy points is to have loads of motherships in the flak target.

Maybe if there was a limited number of motherships that could be built i.e. 3/4 it would limit how effective the multi could be.

Also if they want to use other types of ships which are easily destroyed they:

a) have to research them first.

b) This would take time. So their points won't increase so quickly.

c) Not always do they gain as many points this way (due to the types of easily hit ships)

Also I know that the relative score shows effectiveness of the player's attacks throughtout their evo, but could a section be added next to the high scores in stats where it shows the previous few days high scores of that player.

i.e

high scores:

........................................................relative...Score on previous days
player....................................score.....score....yesterday.....2..........3

Iuz the Evil of Orgasmo Prime..76404...120685.....56698.....49879...51039

This way we can see the progression of how they gain points as well as giving us another stat to compare each other by. An easier way to catch a high score multi.

David and I have not hit a multi in about 2 weeks unless you count the ones spamming our member bases.
As far as competition goes I spent 2 weeks holding the bh with a single c2
Our only targets lately??? We stumble on them at pre-warps and wh's or find pass over with an eye in the sky.
So, bring on the competition before we leave from boredom

If we would decide to leave multies alone we would still have this huge score.Maybe 10 or 20k less. Why is that so,well I asked this question in this thread( http://www.spacetrace.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5538 ).
Why do I say that we would have almost same score if we would stop hitting multies?Becouse there is almost no diffirence in hitting a multie than any other average player ingame for most members in our alliance.

And to say we get our score from multie farms well that is just ridicoulus. We get hit by players(multis)and we clean them good.I havent attacked any base in my previous evo and havent had time to play that actively and still was able to score (combined score with current evo)over 50k just around pulsar and nebula, not to mention score gained around BH.

Rob to say you didnt raid its just not true. When you were in NZ you raided, everyone does it when they get the chance. And we do not pick up easy points most of the time those points are sent to our bases.

Respectable score you say...How you gain your score...By hitting vets...How much points can you take from a vet...only few...
About Victor why dont you just P.M. him and ask about him?

We collect our points as you do Rob,no frenzy hitting mass c4 bases or etc.

BTW we are specialized in holding score planets...Dinskydude wanna check out your conspiracy theory come to any score planet you choose and get flattened by us.

And why is there always a question that first alliance should also be training one?We had our share of noobs and there was way to much mistakes made by them to control them. Now we are small group who works well toghether and see no point in taking in some newbie.Anyone can PM us and ask us anything and will be answered. And Dave and Renee are known for their game knowledge give away as you can find all over this forum.

If you want competition, stop accidentally finding multies. Bring it on, attack me. Or some other player. I don't care.

Are you saying I am just picking easy targets? I found a really nice guy last week, and I lost around 5000 points cause he kept on outsmarting me. I work between 4 and 5 pm and he managed to catch me time in time out.

Don't you say I am just attacking crappy players and raiding bases. I once had a player with 14 c4 next to me, I didn't attack him a single time. I advised him and duelled him a few times to show him how it works. Yes in those duels I won some points but just like 800 a day.

Excuse me, but it only makes it far more strange that these multies with the easy fleets are spamming you. I got the same ones in my comlist, I've harassed in the past ingame with insults, I tried to lure them to my base.
Did it happen? Not at all.

If you want to talk about how to collect points in an ethical way? Bring it on. I want to talk about that.
But do not think you can blame the way play in any way, cause that is way out of your lead. I am just putting the ways and means of other people to discussion. If you want to do the same to me, fine.

1. NeutralZone score= 488600
3. MasterHunters° score= 48600

the second place is TFP and they are one man alliance who not very active. and they only have i think at least 5000 point more than MH.

You guys have 10 times the score of the third place alliance. there is no hope of them catching up to you this round. Plus you have at least 1/4 of all the good players in ST.

why arent you guys training noobs?

No Im not saying you pick up easy targets. It really hard NOT to pick up an easy target.Just wanted to make a point bout way of collecting points. When you did your 100k score i know who you fought...almost no vet included...one that there was was inactive and could be considered farm.I cant imagine scoring 100k from vets...Its just not posibile.
Bring it on...I like this about you Rob...I told you the other day where I was going and you are more then welcome to join me.
Our lead only wants end to multie shit and does not incourge it.It is just our policy to seek and destroy multies. That goes for most of those who make it to the top ten.One of our memebers was in vicinity of some enemys bases and got hit couple of times with startup fleets as i was in my previous account.Got hit and account was erased...
You should know that we have very active membership and when target is spoted it is eliminated in shortest time possible. So if we spot swank at nanolure, why would this swank lIve anymore than it has to.
As I said before we do not get our score from harvesting multi farms...

In other words...like Rob has said in many occasions...

BRING IT ON

There was TO dominating scoreboards and if they would still be aorund they would have over 500k but since they dismantled we were only left with positive score.

Who sad we are not training.Im a noob and 2 other of our members are noobs...If we were gonna get hit by TO we would hardly stand a chance...

I happen to think Iuz is not a twit however I also happen to think Rob is !

No ...correct that...I think the term used somewhere is "dickhead"

If I were Iuz...I would make Rob eat those words. Wouldn't that be poetic justice. I think Iuz has the ability despite him being in his...what ...3rd evo !
Maybe 4th at most.

Here's a towel for you to cry in Rob...you will never make a top player. It's not in your ability or genetics...accept it.

Even better put your thought processes to a test by determining who he is As the multi spamming him has obviously done so already

BTW-Dinsky who's idea was it for that SSA to repeatedly set up a lowrider base fleet ????

A bit black and white right? The farm or veteran. I fight normal players, who got the same ships as I do. If they are smart enough, they can beat me. That one guy did so last week.

Failtrip1 wrote:

But NZ appears to run into these multies so many times with their eye's in the sky. And they all happen to go to you with their easy fleets.

Yes, now I am insinuating dirty play (But I am not serious about it. You do and than denie.... *sigh* )

I know how you guys play. You simply take the easy points that shouldn't go to you. You guys are better than that. Find their coords, block their bases with production invaders. This is a bit strange, but if there is no other way, feel free to create an account purely for blocking the ones that ruin the game. I trust you guys enough to know you wouldn't abuse that. Cause I don't think that you would like to spend your own fleets at blocking them without getting points reward.

Fact is that some people are scoring lots more than they would naturally do when fighting normal spacetrace players (As how about 80% can be considered.)

Why is NZ brought in a bad daylight ? ? ?

NZ is a well organised alliance :
* nice teamwork ( if needed)
* good intell
* active
* ballannced

Maybe that is what other alliances need to figure out first to get your team fit to these points .

So Rob who should NZ attack in your opinion ? only players in 5th EVO
If you haven't noticed there are only 177 players from wich at least 30% are inactive for over 3 days 60 % are rather new players ( 1th till 3th EVO)
Leaves 10 % of players wich are in their 4th or even higher EVO
wich stands for 18 active players from the 18 players are 5 in NZ leaves 13 players to attack ever thought about the size of our space ? ? ?

Don't come and try to say that IUZ don't deserve his points , if you think he doesn't deserve his points try it yourself to take it down , but remind he is in an organised alliance , so your score would go down more rapid .

For Viktor if you don't know him ask him , all I can tell you he playing a while now ( He must be good I trained him )

Renee and Davalan don't need an explanation ( they ROCK )

Failtrip knows the game also quiet enough

leaves 2 players ( don't know if you know their names , so I keep them secret )

1th player is a fast learner he knows the game since he was willing to learn it from active players and he sure kicks most players a** by now

2th player you know who that is after reading the above post

so far for now CHEERS (dammn bottle is empty )
