hyper destruction commando (class 1 ship)
this ship takes the laser-power of 10 of your destroyers (-9 ap) to create hyper destruction bolt (class 2), which is then released in the enemy fleet, it works as a time bomb, when it´s activated, it will destroy 5 enemy class 3 ships.
attack/life: 0/20
manpower: 30
researchtime: 2 d
buildingtime: 12 h
e-ray-technology
needed research:
leadership
battle details:modifies AP/LP by -9/0 of 10 destroyers in your own fleet in class 2
(battle engine syntax: mod,self,10,2,destroyer,+,-9,0)
creates 1 hyper destruction bolt in the enemy fleet in class 2
(battle engine syntax: create,enemy,1,2,hyper destruction bolt) |

This ship is too powerfull what if you add no c2 to that fleet and 5 c3 are way to much
change the 10 destroyers too any ship type or make it selfdestruct and higher the MP and lower the attack power of 5 c3 ships to 2-3 |

Actually lower classes should never take out multiple upper classes as the is a total reversal of the way this game is done.
Only a higher class should kill multiple ships in a lower class (ex cyclopses, apollos, dreads, spetres, etc)
The exception to this is the prophet (wipes out your fleet) and the mantis (killl all c4 in both fleets). But these are balanced by the drawback of killing your own too  _________________ "Destruction leads to a very rough road

the only problem with the syntax i see is that your hyper destruction bolt is wayyyyy too powerful.. as it stand you can research hyper destruction bolt and produce it.. so i could take a a fleet of 60 cruisers with using only 12mp.. i think only admin can make cool ships like that.. same thing with a troika, i dont know how to make a ship with 0mp and make it so you cant research it..
anyways about the ship, i like the idea but i do believe its a bit powerful still.. Dave is right, ship of a lower class shouldnt take out higher classed ships (only a couple of exceptions)

How do you mean, you would take a fleet of 60 cruisers?
This is the fun: when you've read the syntax very carefully of both of them, then it says that the HDB will actually created IN the enemy fleet, the syntax of the HDB itself says that it would kill 5 cruisers in you OWN fleet, so, when it's created in the enemy fleet, it will AND kill the 5 cruisers (in the enemy's fleet) AND make you some extra points for the selfdestructing of it It would be tottaly useless to make it yourself, cause it only makes you lose ships, I secured that so that people wouldn't train those HDB's.  _________________

And I just wanted to make a ship that releases a other self-made ship, but I can't do anything about the fact that it takes out the upper-class ships, i thought that it would be a nice exeption... _________________

but still the fact that it destroys 5 cruisers.. thats like 300mp.. to much

First my suggestion is making this a c2 ship
Then the ship released should be 0/0 with o of mp and to be balanced as a viruses it has to be released on class 3 and not on c2.
Ok now it is still to powerfull...i miss something at the syntax the first time...because i though it destroys 5 of your own ship...So i think it should like that while creating an hyper destruction bolt you lose 5 of your own c3 ships to make the release...
The problem is the ship is a little expensive to be a c1 and if it is c2 it would die for sure so it has sense.
So you have to be lucky to keep the ship in your fleet and also you have to figth a second time vs the other fleet...the good part is that you may reconstruct this ship
So did you understand my suggestions? if so, what do you think? |

The ship would be destroyed if it was in class 2 because in class 2 some ships
are strong enough to destroy it, not in class 1. The HDB is 0/0, and it should
destroy the enemy's 3th class so that your class 3 could focus on destroying
any buildings/motherships, or any left c3 ships.
It would be very unrealistic to destroy them, because the ship just needs the
power of the lasers, there's 1AP left so that they can defend themselves and
are not totally defenseless. And altough with 30 MP it's quite expensive for a
class one ship, it's worth it, it's not usefull when the enemy is focused on
c1/2, but later in the fight it's unmissable, when either trying to attack a base
or when the enemy has carriers, or you're trying to make a lot of points. Yes
it might be very hard to keep it in a second fight, but it should have released
the HDB in time, and as you said, it's reconstructable. _________________

I think you missunderstod my sugestion.
It has to be destroyed in class 2, so it can make sense if not it would be too pwerfull, understand?
Yes i know th HDB is 0/0 but it should be 0 mp and not 1, like a nanoviruse so it could be destroyed too.
And it has other uses believe me;)
And the part about first, when it releases the ship it should destroy 5 of your c3
If not look at the ship right now...with 1 is enough to win 300 pts vs standard ships using 30 mp its too powerfull...and there is a way to balance it and also to see a way of manage it with just standard ships
