hey... 1st time i made one of these in a while... DEFIANCE II is recruiting, we're kinda in deep negative right now, i can fix that easily, but for now, i need new members, we don't ask for any req cept to not cheat (no multis) no hackers, none of that, and to not be a hated person across the galaxy. we don't care if ur a noob or not, we're just asking for members. so far we have 1 novice, 2 seminovices, and 1 noob, so we're in for just bout any position. please pm me if ur interested and give me ur ingame name

the secret is to keep them intrested in the game and don't give em shit when they have constant loses.. try to train em.. just ask T2, PFIU is a noob alliance after all.

Something I have figured out Lil is ....
New players learn much more from a win than a loss. I guess it's human nature.
Try to match your new players with other new players. With a small amount of coaching, you can usually get a draw, if not a small win. New players seem to flourish when they get wins no matter how insignficant.

Have a good CoW that will look at member fleets and recommend changes to suit with regard the oppositions fleet from thier DSP report.
If you get someone new who don't want help or ignores your CoW's recommendation, well...you don't need them in your alliance as they will learn way too slow to keep your alliance competitive and be a burden rather than a potential asset.

Not all new players log in everyday as interest is not as strong due to lack of knowledge. The guy who only logs in 1 or 2 times a week is tough to train but as long as thier base is not being constantly attacked, that's ok...just slowly increase the knowledge and the interest will also slowly grow resulting in more active membership or...almost complete abandonment of the game. Some are not cut out for this style of game and that has to be taken into consideration when taking on new players.

Protect your new players from doing battle against Vets.
I guess that is the single best advice I can give you.
