i suggest two alliances for you the first is my alliance lead by Gorthmog
the second is Balamb Garden lead by my old friend link _________________ "Although the constant shadow of certain death looms over everyday, the pleasures and joys of life can be so fine and deeply affecting that the heart is nearly stilled by astonishment" - Dean R Koontz |

i'd suggest you start off in an experienced group... like an alliance that is in the positives above 10k..
then after that you do what you want to do...
Good luck in choosing, you have many choices! _________________ -==Frag the Weak, Hurdle the Dead.==- |

alliance higher than 10k? that isn't always wat u want. look at TOA, it was in deep negatives, but a very good training alliance, don't judge an alliance by its score
well don't usually judge an alliance by its score _________________ PWNAGE!

And don't be too dissapointed if alliances with high score don't accept you. They usually have wars going on and its for your own good if they don't accept you. |

Your right Kame...there can be a number of reasons why an alliance refuses admittance to someone. Wars is a big reason... on the other hand, a new quiet member is sometimes a good place to put a flag if it is in danger of being snitched.
If the alliance you want in refuses , it could be as simple as not having time to train properly or , in our case, we just took on 3 brand new players and it can be a big job keeping the scores at a break even point.
Do not let that dissuade you from re-applying in a couple weeks. Situations can change very rapidly allowing a previously applyed to alliance to again accept new members.
Low score does not mean a poor alliance. A good training alliance very seldom has a high score due to high number of trainee's learning how to fight resulting in big losses to alliance score. Just make sure in the alliance there is some experienced player(s) that can guide you to build good basic fleet set-ups and point out the common mistakes most new players make. |
