disperse batterys (basic research)
gamma nutronic disperse batterys are fuled by blood plazma and several different radioactive liquids prodused as waste from industrial processes. while contained in the main capsule the mixture is kept heated until bits of it are relieced whereupon it is giveing a huge posative charge triggering an energy exploshion, if controlled it can be fired across the vaccume of space to a hostile target, allthough minimal physical damage is obtained, the spacecraft is impaled with a huge elecric charge short-circeting everything and spreading the radiation around killing all personell, a perfect tool therefor to cripple ships.

^ my first attempt at a technology, id like to put this in a ship which is used for crippling others, with it being an unstable mixture inside, once the battle has finished it too would become radioactive thus leading to its self destruction
anyone like it?

i think its like a 2005 v-rocket but im not a nuclear scientist so i didnt really understand the description

If it selfdestructs AFTER the battle it could be a very usefull ship, however, what kind of damage/cripling it deals to the enemy? does it completely destroy ships?? or just a standard damage??
Please whoever invented it, make clear how much damage it does, or completely destroy one ship.
What class is it? does it target a specific class?
Please work out the battle syntax, the ship is nice but work it out.
Looks cool to me though, some more work on it.

lol, im thrilled that someone thinks my description sounds intelligent, its actually complete nonsense
well heres the deal with damage, to keep it fair it only has a limited amount of usage so the dosage that it would require to knock a ship out would depend on its size, i decided to make this a research as i heard elsewhere in this forum that someone would like to see more research, and out of this could come three different ship classes optimized to attack different ship classes, if thats a bit too much ill scrawl up a ship that uses this and u can decide on that, any sense made there?

cruiser or something but than the question still is hoiw much damage does it too another ship and are there ships immune to it???

Ok... For you people who dont understand. Its like a intergalatic nuclear warhead or something. Not a ship that attacks. It Blows up the home planets defenses or weakens them.... atleast this is what i got from it. Im not really sure.

No its a research if i understood Frandall right, but then indeed as Rubens says, if u put the research please put the ships u want to go with it aswell so we can see if its a usefull research or not, or just post one ship that needs this research and work on the rest later. That way we have an idea on how you are planning to use it.
Waiting to see what this new research might bring  its sure a lot of "nonsense" which looks really intelligent so lol thats cool
