advanced tactics

battle details:fights
(battle engine syntax: f)
modifies LP by -5000 of 5 ships of any ship-type in the enemy fleet in class 3, there are no known ships and buildings that survive this effect.
(battle engine syntax: obliterate,enemy,5,3,all)

look at the ap/lp and the mp...easily destroyed by c1 or c2 and it has no counter ability. Defensless against other classes. Not saying I condone its use, just saying, it is pretty balanced.
Although, i'm not sure about that last part in the battle syntax "all" if that means it destroys everything, then Vrictus was right, not balanced, but if that just means that it affects any 5 c3 ships, then it is infact pretty balanced.

if it only destroyed one ship

maybe

but 3...that could be 3 dreadnaughts...

and thats over a grands worth in points, for only 93...

Could be a nice ship, maybe 5 c3 is a bit too much, however 93 mp is quite a lot for a c2 ship. i'd say maybe cut on the mp and make it kill only one c3 ship. its useless against any other class (allthough with its 20 lp its a tough c2 ship though).

Nice idea but needs some work i'd say.

Comparing this with the c2 missle launcher, it seems to have a lot of punch ...yea...give me a fleet of these any day over the missle launcher fleet.



I think it's a little strong...lets see...... drop the mp to... hmmm....
a missle launcher Missle is 17 ap...ship cost 10 mp and fires 1 missle into c3. It takes 6 missle launchers to kill a cruiser using 102 ap total. 6 missle launchers cost 60 mp.
The numbers are not close enough to get my vote yet.

No need for c3 any more either even a 1 1 40 2 swank would get slaughtered by a 1 8 0 1 of these things
