some ideas, we will add:
- "invented by" will contain the full name of the inventor

no prob

- we need a page, where you can find occurrences of your animal.
(at the moment you have to search a lot of planets to find out how your invention worked.)

think of the cpu , no

- a search for certain-class planets would be nice, for example search for a systems that contains a desert planet or so

this is possible, because the planets never change their conditions, if you have this you will have the one above (if you understand your creature)

ye, we collect all the ideas

the next stuff is:
* making the reports more visual and better to read
* balancing the genetic booster: the goal is a 10 stages complexity range
1 alga -> 10 pre warp alien beings

maybe there could be a page where you can define a virtual planet and see how the lifeforms would develop there

Booster suggestion:

name:?

If there is a lack of females/males, the creature will change sex, this raises the fertility by ?%

(havent decided what to put at the question marks yet)

little question:

I want to make a animal but it says you can only release one per day, does that mean 24 hours?

cause it is before the algues?

another thing:

for the genetics game. I recommend the following as the next stages in development:

1) implement "symbiotic relationships" in the animals. ie. some animals that are food for some are poison to others.
2) consider the effect this may have on a players planet. IE some animals could be a risk to the local planetary pop. and could be use as a strategical weapon.
3)massive attacks on a players system could be made to cause planetary environmental changes for better or worse.

I havent tried the game yet, and maybe I havent understood it, but if you invent the races all the time, the last invented race wins(?).

Maybe there should be a population and a polulation growth rate, depending on certain circumstances.

And because the pop can be predicted with simple mathematics, there should be evolutionary rules, like crossover, random mutations etc., to have a bit surprise if there will be a leap in evolution.

Its also possible that there will exist endangered lifeforms... if they get eaten or cant eat anymore. Make sure that the pop growth rate is depending on how much and what they eat.

thx for your help testing this. this project is in the very beginning, but the test run was importatn to understand how it could be. We will start now to program new features and enhancments.

future features will be:
* creatures will not occur automatically in the whole universe, they will spread with fleet movements.
* there will be more sophisticated rules to create animals, which will allow more interesting strategies
* the number of active animals in one system will be limited
* statistic
* most of the creature attributes will be characterized by symbols and words , not by number values
* the evolution order will be shown in a more visual way, not in the actual report style

OK admn, better add an integer overflow trap into those bio parameters.
You can acomplish the above by entering "10,10,10........" and increasing the biomass figure to an overflow producing a biomass figure of about -2 billion this alows the other parameters to be set very high as well.
A definate bug....
