Once and again agree...but remember i think there is another use of the alliance without helping. TWGs, CTF and just being the alliance with more. pts
TWG=Transwarpgate usage
CTF= capture the flag of other alliances.
The point is that in those kind of alliances you dont have noob people wiling to learn as Conejo.

After someone attacked the devil hole at the ST screen apeared "battle between xxx and toughie" of course i thought you may be that player but i SENDED you a pm that you didnt answer...where it was clearly specified that i thought that player was Conejo...
So you take advanage about him...But you still lost
In the other hand you are in the same alliance right? So your alliance dosnt defend you and you are are a noob...and a noob hated in the comunity.
@Lilk...well this is recruitment but i wont allow you to recruit more people when you cant give them basic things.

wait... i ask, who gave the idea we did not protect our members, we were trying to attack black hole, and that was my primary concern, but then we started getting picked out and attacked, so we are protecting our members! who the @^#@&^@ said we didn't protect our members? wolves protect the pack and so do we!

I am more online in tyhe forum because i check up on the game, nothing will hapen for like a hour, so i go to the foruim.

First ...Appologies to Lilkrnboi again for corrupting his recruitment post.
What I meant to convey was, It's not nice to make public someone's in game name and link them to forum name. In some cases it don't matter and in some it does. It should be up to the individual if they choose to make thier ingame name public knowledge.
The second part of my message was merely to point out to Lilkrnboi that if Knight of Truth is acting as MOC or in charge of recruitment (press agent), perhaps a different approach to recruiting could be explored rather than give the impression new players get "thrown to the wolves" without assistance from other alliance members.
I think the message that Defiance wanted to give was that there were few restrictions within thier alliance and members are free to attack who they please. I would be very suprised if new players were not given instruction on how to use a MTWG or how to attach comm lists or even how to provide basic protection for themselves. As Lilkrnboi pointed out, they do go to the aid of members in distress.
I will refrain from posting in this forum now and if anyone does not understand what I have just put down....

1 Rubens isn't spamming he just has an attitude that you can't stand, just as a lot of other people can not.
2 He is talking sense, the only thing you could say about him was that he is way to perfectionistic and doesn't like people making mistakes which he wouldn't be making himself.

As I said, he's not talking sense. He, and you too for that matter, should know that a probe result is NOT proof of how an alliance behaves.
And if he, on the grounds of that probe result, keeps insisting that an alliance does not help its members out while a person like Lilkrnboi tells him multiple times that it's not true I consider that spamming the topic. Not to mention acting like a GM...
As I previously said, I hold nothing against you Rubens, but plz stop this.

He, and for that reason I support him, have other reasons to think that Defiance simply is not such a good alliance.
I know the leader, he really is a good guy. But for leading an alliance, he isn't fit for that.
I, and also Rubens, don't just judge from a probe result. We know what is happening in space, we know the members etc. etc. etc.
So don't talk down on us little brother.
Keeping members motivated, teaching people and whatever else I expect from a leader, he simply doesn't really have these things in him.

people like you araith, who understand the game should not praise this alliance with qualities it does not possess

Defiance is not a top alliance I agree, but most alliances aren't. Caboose sure isn't a top player, but he's fine enough.

I was not solely talking about critizing (though the critisism is IMO out of place), just read the following from Rubens. That's what I objected to:

Apparently you don't know all the members that much Robert (or however you call yourself nowadays). Vrictus, I don't praise Defiance with qualities it doesn't possess.
For a simple fact, I KNOW Caboose would and will aid his members, if he's capable and if he sees the need for it. I've spent around 4-5 months with him in an alliance, first leading the Long Fangs, then in Defiance (1). So believe me, I know.

First of all..thanls to deluxe to remember your fight with COnejo...there you go, it is a probe! That goes to KOT and...to 1 of the quotes of Araith, when i said "probe" it wasnt refered to DSPs it goes further than that my friend
Then--GM means game master? Well you keep saying i have indetity problems...can i know why? Ok Araith...sorry about the "i wont alow you to recruit more members"...but... thats the proposite...I, as an experimented player, will try to stop Noobs that join on Defiance because they dont give enough "things" to take care of a noob wiling to learn and become the best.
Of course, maybe someone will join the alliance by different reasons...and that would be a good thing to you.
of course there are worst alliances but i am just pointing this one...sorry...Anyway we can speak about type of alliance for a million of years so i wont say too much more.

As example of a good alliance that protects their member is PFIU (Or PFUI)
It wasnt 1 time...neither 2 nor 3...its a DSP..my fleets and other fleets that were keeping coming to the supously KOT's base...and nobody defense him...i dont think your fleets were defending other player in all the time
In short words, i am a bit NOT spamming but yes destroying the topic and an important point has been lost....is that...
