Its a good idea. I think maybe someone should get something out of it other than "hey we have a mining platform and i get 50 pts a day and 200 a week." Whats in it for the ppl who placed it there?

The people that mine get the points not the alliance, so its good for the players also, BTW why has this not added?

and why should be added?send this mining ship where noone can find it and start collecting points(like 300-300-30).so for 1 week you can have 550 points entire your evo and all that for cost of 1 MS.but this is better this one also fights(without battle syntax)but its supposed to fight.
This is a war game people,not some ihavezilliontonsofcoalimno1game.here you collect points by fighting with people,by using strategy.not by sending some mining ships to some planets and get easy points.

Idea is good, i like it a lot. But how is it made visible to other player?

Other must have the ability to detect it and then destroy it. Is it with a DSP or..........

i think you people are missing the big picture what this game is all about.We all ready have score planets-so there is no need for things like this.if you wanna fight for points go to the BH,nebula,pulsar.

You dont need mines and minerals and stuff.Its the point of the game.Every player has equal resources.This is why this game is different from others.You want a mass game,youll have to go somewhere else.

in order for ship to work in this game you have to give it battle syntax.not just say can have rockets,pistols and a ballon.

We allready have use for prewarp planets:
-wormholes(dunno what happen to them since the last update)
-build an archeology expedition and send it somewhere and see what happens
Its not much but its something.

Get your points fighting with others not sitting in some stupid mine.

sry jort, but i'd have to agree with them, at the time this may have looked a good idea, but now its been discarded for the many flaws have been picked out, their are too many pre warp planets, no1 would fight u for mining one, so its just easy points, we already had the whole prewarp argument

since the points are a mirror for you battle skills in the game, it should be somehow dangerous to go mining, otherwise, everyone can get points without even battleing.

do you have a solution for this? otherwise the idea is impossible
