seige platform (class 3 ship)
this platform allows the launching of long range cruise missles within a 2 sector radius of it´s position. a missile volley can only be launched every 6 hours. ships traveling from your ship yard or an alliance ship yard to the platform gain a +2 warp speed bonus because of magnetic beam technology.
attack/life: 1000/3000
manpower: 2500
speed: warp 4
(can only establish a warpfield for itself)
researchtime: 3 d
buildingtime: 1 d

twas me... i was just thinking, and i came up with this.
The mp is meant to be high in order to stop people using it so often, it also encourages alliance play beacuse one member of an alliance places a seige platform, and the other members use it...
Also it would mean ranged attacks from cruise missiles, i was also thinking mabe you can assign more man power to increase the missile regeneration time, or speed or somthing.
also i was thinking maybe a special Alliance Seige Platform, like the mobile TWG. _________________ chuck norris would Totaly Own this galaxy! |

sounds good maybe you can build a special probe that largers the radius of the missile lock device or something
i wouldn't raise the MP cause it's already much
- maybe add something like Mighty suggested for the warp thing add engineers to the ship. Per 5 engineers is 10 minutes less launching regenerate time or something
the alliance idea sound very good
- should you have to pay points too like The MTWG something like 2500 points

Oh, lets supouse this is the one.
If just 1 is allowed it dosnt has sense.
Even if you can use more its useless. You need to battle directly to class 3. If not, how will the missiles works?.
In the case that those are the missiles...this its a pretty bad idea |

fires 300 1/1 missiles into class 1
fires 100 10/1 missiles into class 2
fires 10 300/1 missiles into class 3
also
laser turrets fire into first class battle at strength 1000
...
makes it pretty strong
but worth the points
these are just suggestions |

sounds good but than the MP should remain the same otherwise it would be too strong maybe lower the LP a bit |

nar not class 4 in class 3 there is a risk to using it in class for it would just be a defense array. In class three it might actually work _________________ Follow the blood and you will find me!

Oh and the MP of those 300 missiles vrictus? Or they arent nothing? So we just send missiles as nanoviruses without having a real battle with the enemy but we still win pts...Not understanble.
I will like Kandos to expose a lil better his idea.
The rest i've made, in my opinion are useless.
And, in case you really liked this idea you should spend some credits in another ship...and of course taking in mind the v2005 rocket, prohet and missile launcher.
