If it goes wrong there are going to be 150 million casualties.

The "threat" is a massive media blowout. Reports from Indonesia state 62 deaths from avian flu in the last 2 years. And during the same period about 200 deaths in that area from shark attacks and 2000 from lightening
This reminds me of the multi-million $ fruit fly eradication program California did back in 1990 when 3 grapes showed up with fruit fly eggs in them
And I pray to god I am right this time (fingers crossed). |

@ Davalan, some times t CAn go wrong, like Spanish Flu ( 1918 ) , 40 million dead in the areas where WW I was going on, at other places there even hasn't been a single body counted.
@ Anon the mouse. Let me explain.
This one isn't overrated.
And this one is H5N1 , the N1 part hasn't been around for almost 80 years, so NOBODY got defence from that one. And just this N1 part is the '''N'' that lookes the most like the human ''N'' . It looks that much like each other, they can just use and form a multi-animal/human new type. The ''N'' rates how easy people can get infected, or when it is with animals, how easy they can get infected. So you only need a chciken with N1, and a human that allready got whatever sort of flu ( at least one that is a bit serious ) and then you got a pandemic.
And the H5 part was last seen 40 years ago, this one rates the strength of the virus. The H5 isn't the most diehard of all, if you get H1N1 you are likely to die. That one was the Spanish Flu, and because of modern transport, that one would seriously kill half the world. |

Hey Kirby dont say stuff you dont really want to happen.
what you just said isn't good for your reputation in here, and besides you ruin this topic with your ignorant and childish post
It's quite sad if you say die to somebody and next day he dies, you feel quie fuc.king bad and wrong.
Just some little advise.
Edit # 1, these are the last words I am saying to you Link:
Who needs you to reply on this topic? i was mad and answering Kirby's post. It was directly an insult to me. But who cares if you make just one more lame post? No need to do that for you.

you do have a good point william, but that's also what he said.. doubt..
anyway I kinda think you're running your mouth since you ain't dead.. you little hypcrite (seriously doubt...) , you know if you'd actually die.. it'd be pretty sad, but your not going to ( at least we all wish your not going to I think we can all agree on that ) so shut it.
And you are the one messing up this topic because you replied to Hannibal, if you would have just ignored him nothing would be wrong and i'd also not have to write this post right now.
this all makes me kinda think this would be a doubt moment for you..
doubt.
p.s. ST should get like a doubt smiley, that would seriously make things easier ( at least for me it will ) _________________ The spartans do not ask how many....
