The members of the TPC wish to extend prayers and hope for the people afflicted in the Katrina catastrophie. Especially any ST player that may be affected, we wish them ummmm... luck and salvation.
Our prayers are with you. Be strong and keep the faith !

Yeah, I really feel sorry for mackman. He lives in the region right?

Not that he cant be active on ST, it's just a game. But I dont know how he's handling it right now.

@ Shade, you know more about this?

Darmadon is from Florida, and the hurricane just missed them and hit Louisiana and the surrounding area.

I havent heard anything about the state of Florida, so thats actually a good thing.

I remember last summer Darmadon lost power for a few days, and couldnt log in from home, due to a hurricane. He has been on regularly this time, we just ran a few battles simultaneously.

There was a hurricane. The damage wasn't that bad at first, but the dikes broke down and New Orleans is flooded. About 90% of the city.

There are masses of dead people floating through the streets. There are threads of epidemics. The estimate death rate is about 6000 I think.

The people that didn't want to evacuate are routing the city and some of those gangs are fighting and shooting. That's not that bad ( they're killing each other ), but the problem is they also delay the work of the rescue workers.

There are 15.000 men of The National Guard sent to the region to help cleaning up the mess and defeating the rebels.

Yeah they probably are indeed, but it still sucks. It wasn't their time.

It is far worse in New Orleans than I ever could have imagined. They are not letting anymore relief volenteers into New Orleans.
And here in Baton Rougue they project a 3x increase in population here, in Houston, Dallas, Little Rock, Memphis, and just about every large city within 1000 miles over the next 3 months due to the complete evacuation of New Orleans.
It is rapidly starting to resemble a 3rd world country in this area I have never seen anything like it even abroad.
So, any good new in spacetrace?
More volenteers are coming in soon. DavAlan among them, we are simply getting overwhelmed by this mass exodus here.
