some of you guys have pictures in your signature of the forum.
some of them look very nice but there is a small problem: not all of you check that the size of the picture is ok.
sometimes some pictures just are too big, and sometimes the bictures don`t look big, but they are big in the filesize. you can see that if you rightclick on the picture and see filesize in properties.
a picture in the forum should not have more than 50KB otherwise the page needs a long loading time if you have a slow internet connection like 56k-Modem or so.
so please:
use images in the forum with care and those who have too large pictures pls change it |

it still didn`t change.
some of you have VERY lasrge pictures in your signature, for example promethius2 has a picture with 300KB.
this takes nearly one minute to load with a 56k-modem
please change that

Its 50 kb and was made by Compu_Head.

i suggest not to use signatures, that are higher than 50pixel
otherwise the forum pages get so long, and you have to scroll all the time |

Its the size of the sig (pixels) not memory it takes up.

yes, the size in KB shouldnt be more than 40 KB, and the height in pixel not more than 50 (or 60px  ) |
