This game died as soon as Shade and Total Ownage left. Or maybe it was just a coincidence.
But anyway, the fire of Spacetrace is extinguished for me. _________________ Calvin: I'm a genius, but I'm a misunderstood genius.

we are forgettin one aspect of that sentence
[/quote]sure: some players leave and some new players move into the game, this is life Quote: |
but if players leave then we're loosing our hertiage in the game and we will soon forget the good things that happened like Nazgul and if new ones come in well im not noobist but even i dont like having questions left right and center of noobs and the less experience players we have because they leave the more likely that would happen

Alright then i propose Space Armada will war with anyone as long as they fight 1 on 1 with each of out 2 members no gangbanging WoC once tried that on my base lets just say they went home limping
So then if any 2 or 3 manned alliance wants a war with Space Armada please do so... Methi thinks this game needs a new dominate force well come on lets have wars.
Methi maybe u would like to join Space Armada.?.
And have some wars??
I will war with any alliance which wishes so..
Now lets see if the Galaxy livens up HeHeHe....
I would personally like another war with WoC as i gane points easy from Lego
and
Fox_Mulder
Well i hope soon the galaxy will be lively again. _________________ APEmpire |

Nothing is for ever. Not TO not the nazguls not spacetrace
but if new players make new alliances then there will be a lot of new action.
And why are you talking in the forum about what happened
Why don't you make war and fun
and why don't you enjoy of spacetrace as long as it will excists instead of being depressive in the forum.
If you think spacetrace is getting boring well make an new war then. |

NO, please do not think that everything's bad. Its not bad, the admins are right with what they're posting.
The game is good as it is - as a frame. Its up to the players to interact and play.
And when the admins say "players leave, new players join", they're completely right! Its very hard to satisfy the expierenced players. Capture The Flag, for instance, was a nice new feature - for 3 weeks. Then the expierienced players screamed for new features. They didnt get new ones and started bashing n00bs - who probably stopped playing the game. Another example is "IT": The first catch was nice and funny, but the following were boring.
That means that the admins do have extravagant expenses to keep the expierienced players satsfied. I wouldnt do that, too.
The fun playing this game comes from the interaction, the alliance wars etc etc.
I think Spacetrace needs a bit time to relax and to get some n00bs into the game, then it'll have more players and its worth to play ST even for expierienced players.
But I have to say that the admins have to force new players to join and to keep an eye on the nettiquette here in forum and in IRC. Or they can work on the n00b-help section in this forum and classify the posts over there. Another idea is a n00b protection thats based on percentages: A player with over 5k points can only attack players with max. 500% more points or max. 20% less points, under 5k everything's fine. Something like that could do the job.
I hope its more clear now why I leave (Elder). If the game has more players I think I might come back.

Yo Tweets .... Methi.... everybody ... wanna know a joke ....
We can bring this game back to the madness it was a few months ago .... lol ... and y'all know what I mean .... yeah...what a lot of people didn't realise back then ... was ... we did it for a purpose ... for the game ... total ownage ...and our enemy alliances of course ... without them...we'd never have been able to do what we did ...
before then it was the borg stuff .... yes .... spacetrace is made up of a few players ... we all know each other and we all love having each other in the game .... at this moment there are too few of us in the game and therefore it seems dead ...
Who makes this game ... lol, I always have to think of Spyder first .... he is my spacetrace example ... people like Tweety .... Kamekaze6...Weyleyn...Tealeaf.....Shade.....Base....Kever...Technoseal...Darmaddon....Kepch....Case ... Metody.... Lou.... Lance...Blackmagic....wow, this is too much to mention .... and lots and lots of others .... and then there are the new players ... some integrate like magic into the game, like DeathKiller .... joined the game and instantly became a part of it .... Methi....Wolfpac....Darthmother.... are the others who join the game and become one with the others ....some never seem to integrate but will rather do everything to cause choas... some chaos is necessary and can be a lot of fun .... but yuck ... lets maintain some level of respect lol ....
But like Tweety says .... as long as we stay in touch, the game cannot die ....
I do understand the admin predicament .... but to have a healthy family...you gotta take care of them .... feed them on time ... and a lot are hungry ... very hungry ....

Its like it just died. That feeling of excitement, when you win a victory, or when a new neighbour appears or when an alliance declares war > Its gone |
Howdy old timers. I just decided to have a look to see how you were all doing. Not well it seems.
It's sad, but it's something thats been happening for ages; thats why I left. (Sorry I never said goodbye, but I didn't feel that there was much of a point in a speech) Terrible, but Methi has hit it on the head. Just one day I decided; this just isn't interesting me any more. And I was sick of honest players being a few small islands in a sea of scummy multi motherfuckers. _________________ Cleanse, Purge, Kill! |

Nice sig Methi,
Quote: | They say that if you throw a cat off of a roof, it will always land on its feet. It has also been scientiffically proven that toast will land butter-side down. Therefore I ask, What happens when you strap buttered toast to a cat? |
It will hover ofcourse. Murphy's law dictates that the cat will spin inches above the ground because neither side can impact the ground according to:
A: The cat must land on its feet.
B: The buttered side of the cat must hit the ground.
I am going to try outfitting my bike with an array of buttered cats and a room fan. That way I won't have to pedal anymore ^^ _________________ Join the army, meet interesting people, kill them.

Damn cat licked the butter off the toast as I shoved her down the roof ... and managed to throw the remaining butterless toast towards the doggy who swallowed it instantly and then the cat landed so very near the rat and it bit the cat and chased it away ... sorry Methi.... I did try ....
