by recycling some of you ships (@ tthe production screen) or losing ships in a battle, or researching clone labs (only good if you use big ships)

Some new players reckon that the manpower gets used for production of the ships and are then released again after production .... no ... 
Once they've built that particular ship, they then become fighter pilots lol .... Well ... you know ... until death ...  |

soooo... when you recylce a ship you actually just kill the old pilot and hire a new one?
