This has been suggested countless times by myself and many other players and each time the response is the same.
The Black Hole means nothing in Spacetrace any more.
If you are part of a large alliance what is the point in Travelling for a day and a half to to the hole only to damage half your fleet, have an unprotected base just for about 100 points a day????
Its crap.
Its even worse when you consider the Pulsar or the Nebula.

Therefore Admin these are my suggestions (once again)

1. Raise the points of the Balck Hole to 2500 points a day, for the alliance. And 2000 points a day for the ACTUAL players who control the Balck hole.
So for example the alliance has 10 members. I capture the hole for my alliance. I get 2000 points a day as a bonus for risking my fleets at the hole. But i also get the normal 200 points a day, from the points i normally would receive from the hole.
And also raise the points of the Nebula nad the Pulsar to 1000 points a day.
This would be really cool because it would literally drag players to these areas and there would be huge battles there.

If you dont like my suggestion, then what about this one? [I personnally prefer the first suggestion]

2. Everything i said in the first suggestion except another "planet" that moves about spacetrace, changing position every 3 days or so. Offering 2600 points each day.

As i have said before, i dont really like the second suggestion, but alot will.
I personnally prefer the first.

It is good, cause it idd has no worthy opportunity. Except for the Long Fangs, which are desperate for BH. But since their leader has respawned, they are nothing.

I think that 2000 of a single day being there is quite too much, then you just gotta make good fleets, you will always get attacked at the Black Hole, many alliances go to there, only some just don't make it.... I won't raise it 2000, just 500 is quite enough also.... Else other ones go and do it just to be sure you become a top10 player, that's not the purpose of that thing :p it are normal scoreplanets, not HUGE scoreplanets off course

Actually Darth its notthat much to be honest, its about as much as you would score from 1-2 good attacks.
Besides, the bonus is worth it, because if you travel to the Hole and it takes 36hrs.
That is leaving your base wide open.
And if you see incomings @ your planet, during the time that you are @ the BH.
Then you are surely fucked, because there is no way you can make it back to your base and defend it in 36hrs.
Therefor i think the points are worth it.
BTW, Thank you for answering to this topic, i thought it was going to die.
Admin, good Admin, generous Admin who created this game,, Please adress this issue and take into the account the fact that nobody uses these great features of the game.
And make them more appealing to people.
AKA... RAISE THE POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT now a question for you methi... what about if 2 players are there??? do they get both 2000 a day or 1000?? Does it split up or not??

BTW, you are quite right, most players have min.24 hours to go to the black hole... I think even all players have that... minimal... (if you put mTWG there maybe not but ok...)

i try to get the black hole, usually you always get attacked at the Black hole and that is where you get the major points, form the battles. i do like the idea of rasing the point value of the planets, what about we make the black hole 2000 points a day, which is seperated through out the entire allaince, and mybe raise the points from the GP or Nebula some to.

The only problem I see with the bh is that currently most players are too far from it.

The geography of the galaxy has changed since the bh first came into being, then we all surrounded it, and most alliances had a member close. Now we all seem to be on one side of it, and for most it is just to far to send a fleet.

In the last round of round play Wiz made top player without attacking anywhere except the black hole, so it can be worth it, but usually the points are made from battles rather than holding it.

If two members from the same alliance hold the hole then the bonus is still given fully to them as compensation for an unprotected base.

And Spyder, you are absolutely right. I keep getting farther and farther away from the hole. And it is just not worth it any more..
So, that would leave 2 options to combat this problem.

1. When planets start respawning, respwn them around the hole. (duh)
2. Transwarp 15-20 when travelling to the hole.

I think you should raise the points nonetheless, just so that players will NEED to go to the Hole.

I still think 1000 a day is enough, you can't lose more if your base is destroyed than 1000 and that's off course only IF your base is destroyed.... and you will keep gaining points if others attack (if you build the right fleet(s) off course.... But your idea isn't so bad after all Methi...

1000 aint high enough. Do raise it to 1800 and 1000 for Nebula and Pulsar.

There might be potential here for an added element in the game but the points are outrageous...

Darthmother, What alliance are you in? DBD is it?
9 members kk.
You capture the Hole for 1 day. You will only get about 110 points.
Surely you, risking your fleets so far from home deserve ALL of the points...?
Wait!
I just accidentally stumbled across something..
How about, rather than spread the points across the alliance, just give them to the people who are Actually AT the hole?
This way the alliance will still get the points and the people will be constepated i mean compensated.
But even if it was like this, i still think that at the very least the balck hole should offer 1500 points. And the Nebual and Pulsar 1000 points.

Oh lol, sorry.

But i think it would be really cool.
However once again i beleive the points should be at least 1500 for the hole.
And 1000 for Nebula/Pulsar.
Or maybe make the Nebula 1200 becuase i think its name sounds better than the pulsar

Before we had the Nebula and Pulsar the BH was more attractive, because it was the only spot to get some extra points.

But I think the real problem is the distance. Why not using the Nebula and Pular as wormholes to get to the BH? You wont get any point by holding them, but you get access to a very fast transwarp network (maybe warp * 4 or 5) to the black hole.

WOW!

THAT IS A GREAT IDEA!

And imagine what you would get if you put all this togethor:

1. The Nebula and Pulsar will cease to become "planets" but will become wormholes. When arriving at the Pulsar your fleet will automatically start travelling 5 times faster to the Black Hole.

2. The black hole will give off 1500 points for everyday that it is in your/your alliances control.

3. The 1500 points will go to you, and will not be spread throughout the alliance.

This sounds really exciting. I want this!!!!!!!!!!!

Admin! PLZ ADD!

NO, not automatically. You can try to hold these positions!

I see where you are going with this tweety!
An alliance controlling the Black Hole will also need to hold the wormholes in order to prevent attacks

I LOVE IT!

Admin, plz add this

But can u only come to the BH with wormholes ( Pulsar and Nebula) or also with normal flying? Thats the big question. It gives u an advantage, but it doesnt when u live 3 coords away from BH. So plz explain

lol Elder, thats the problem in the first place, the Hole is too faraway!
So from tweety's idea, you can attack the Hole by normal flying at lets say warp 5. Which would take roughly, 36hrs.
But, you can frst travel to the Pulsar or the Nebula and you can choose either to defend these positions or else to use the new wormhole feature and travel to the Hole at a speed 5 times faster than your normal speed.
In this case, you would travel at warp 25.

Timeslipper> warp 35

1500 points for the black hole in future. [Because we now cant claim 600 for the Nebula nad Pulsar]

ADD THIS PLZ ADMIN. IT IS SOUNDING COOLER AND COOLER!
