Can explain a little more about it?

Is it say, everyone gets an extra fleet a tournament fleet.
This fleet cannot be rebuilt during the tournament all players' fleets are dropped off somewhere between 700/700/70 and 800/800/80 after that all the fleets battle it out, say the more fleets you destroy the more you can soup up your own fleet.

Last fleet standing earns 5000 points.
What do you think.
Also how about for the fleet adding moblile DSP's to scan for your next target.
Now that my friends would be pretty cool.

An evil twist would be pretty cool too.
Say you loose 2500 points if your entire fleet is destroyed.
Also, say some ships will be illegal for the tournament such as the doomstar and if your mothership is destroyed your entire fleet is destroyed and your OUT! Losing 2500 points. Evil-- Yet cool
Although we wil have to make the prize about 8-10,000 points then.

Yeah, we need alot of people.
No extra fleet, you gotta make sure you can be at the rendez-vous-point at the right moment or you're disqualified (a few judges could be assigned for every match).
The last one standin made alot on points on the way, so that's his reward (unless admins want to contribute of course)
You'll just have to send a dsp urself, but you won't get the time to use it since you'll only see ur adversary once you arrive at destination too.
If you lose the battle, you're a goner. Battles by disqualification.
No ships are illegal, but bringin a doom would be kinda foolish. You can send more than one fleet, but you cannot chose which fleet will attack when, they will have to come in simultaneously (this would also be watched by the referees).
These are just ideas.

Yeah kepch, (no offence admins) Admins are becoming less and less helpful so actually your idea maybe it will be much better.
But many other players will be needed and only half (maybe smaller) use the forums

lol kandos, if we could build super fleets and we (TO) would join, we would have noone to fight (hehehe) so each his fleet seems fair.

i was the one who said it, but i just thought about a fleet vs another.. just players beating them-selve one by one, but you made it better, but the problem is that if we want to be really apart we need create like another fast server. But alliances shouldnt be allowed that is why it is cool, so i think everyone should be obligated to have a diferent attack code. But keph, i think we dont need restringed ships but either a fleet survive, what will happen if i have a cloaked ship? micyoloyd's players gets disavandtage.... i justthink about, why dont we set some coords and everyone goes and we see who resist more... and like honorals players we will give the prize giving our ships.... we cant wait till the admin handle i out

Once again, SHOULD there be a tournament, it would be one that is organized by players and so no extra tournament fleet, stupid. Anyway, me is at war, if noone did it, I'll bring this back after the ass-whoopin on ICP.

no, admin organise a tournament please, just give those participating an extra 5000 mp and a shipyard on a prewarp planet around the coords 100/100/10 or 900/900/90 just give a forum where you can sign in and arrange this, how about

everyone gets exactly 5000mp has a ability to choose up to 10-15 researches which are automaticly done.

fleets are immediatly ready,

when mp is lost it is not regained

last 2 standing win

no more than 10 players a round

round system, 5 rounds, the best 2 move on to the next round

last round is one on one. winner takes all

no gangbanging.

cheating will resolve into your entire spacetrace accounts banned

winner gets 10.000 score on normal account, if you win a round you get 500 points

losers get 100points for participating
