As alliances become larger they become harder to manage.
The triumvirate has seen that today.
I propose that all aliances with more than 8 memebers in it should have a choice of becoming a democracy.
When ths happens the leader is abolished and there is only MoC, CoW and Flag Commander.
Also in this democracy players vote who they want to have as MoC, CoW and Flag Commander.
The MoC writes the "leader" message.

Indeed...the different governments can be chosen by the alliance creator who maintains a passcode. The different governments would have different posistions...the classic ST government would have the MoC/CoW/FC and Leader but other governments would have their own special possitions! for exp: Democracy would have a president, Secretary of Defence...(SoD *old CoW*) and ect...

Then ya would get monarchy with King (or queen apologees to turiana and Aphrael and any other females for that matter) who would be all things in once (but i can t see that being popular.
Then say communism dictatorship, and what is it the the brits have..... its like half a monarchy.. with the queen being head of state but the prime minister holding all the power.
I would like more players to think up more systems.

the british political state is unique, sort of a mix, it's mostly democracy though.

how about these positions of responsibiltiy

MoP :: Minister Of Propaganda (the head of getting his/her alliance known through out the world of space trace. He/she works together with the Ro.)
Ne :: Negotiation Expert (negotiates wars, terms of wars, and battle fields)
Ro :: Recruitment Officer (recruits more people into the alliance)

I heard through the grapevine that Admin already has a lot of Admin Helpers also called Admin...if applying is the way to go, I do not know...but thats not what I am trying to say...I'm sure that the willing helpers of admin can do the work hehehehehehehehehe...and I heard that the other day a fleet of Admin flew past...and if you see the speed they are going compared to our tortoise behaviour lol...then I want speed too...cos I have a need for speed..hehehe

The old system works fine. U need one person that is granted support of the whole alliance.

The gets the votes. He controls the alliance. Coordinated attacks, same attack-code. Everybody listens or just dies. Thats simple enough.
