I have a suggestion about the new ships.
Now all ships are on 4 pre warp planets. If i like a ship i have to travel in total 40 hours. That is very long for 1 or 2 ships (more mp i have not free). The ships what i need are "self destruct ships". So i have 1 battle and i can fly another 40 hours.
I use those ships 1 time, because i am not flying 40 h for 1 ship.
So i suggest that the needed techs comes on the pre warp planet, but you can build the ships in your own shipyard. So when there is a new ship, you have to go to the pre warp, for the tech. After you have the tech, than it is not needed anymore to go to the pre warp, because you have already the thech.
or
My other suggestion is. Make fast TW to the pre warp planet, just like the alliance TW.
Only between your own planet to the 4 pre warp planets. So of my planet i can travel with Warp 15 to the pre warp. But my fleets can not travel with warp 15 of other planets.

Hmm i don't think that the TW will be a good plan, then all alliances get quicker around space and i suspect that the planets will become huge battle grounds (which i like though)

Than we must choose for option 1.
Get the tech of the pre warp and build in your own shipyard.

this will not happen soon. the changes in the tec-tree (stable part of the ship system) will happen not too fast. we will discuss and test and think about changes in the tec tree longer.
for new stuff like this we invented the drop-stuff-on-planets (dynamic part of the ship system). so we can be sure that the ships are restricted by numbers and any misbalancing effect is temporal.
thx for your patience |

that is far away from everything known i wonder what is that colonized part
the nearest planet with testing technology is 15h away from my base, and i will not send a fleet to travel to the back of the universe just to obtain some ships that may cost me mp, and that i will need another 15h to go back to my planet, plus travel time to my target, to finally get a NEGATIVE SCORE
what i mean is (no critics to anyone, just a comment) that this testing ships are for some people (the ones in the center of the "colonized" part): not for me, not for others far away

Ships are too slow in this game. I log in do a bit of clicking and then i sign in ten hours later to do some clicking again.
Admin I think the normal speed should be warp 10
And the transwarp speed should be transwarp 25
It would make things go twice as fast in the game. |

spacetrace is a game for everyone.
we chose the speed of the game in a manner, that people, who only have time to play once a day or twice have good chances too.
there are some online games, that go much faster, but you have to be online all day to make something of your account there.
one opütion i could think of would be another parallel spacetrace galaxy where warp 1 is 5 times as fast as in our universe.
that could be for players, that want to spend much more time in space
but i think at the moment spacetrace doesent have enough players to split them in two, so go for inventing some more friends
