I thought you did it to make us feel like complainers . Like you were tired of us. I find the sabotage fighter a cool ship also but because I did not use it anymore and the above thought I did not reply.

But you won't change the name of the mantis into kamekaze cruiser would you?

I can agree with last offered from Spacetrace.
But i didn't test all those new ships but battle syntax looks promising.

No please dont axe the sabotage fighter its a good counter for the troikas and also destroyers and mobile repair bots if you do that then you will need to find a good counter for those fleets


How about you drop the fighter escort and keep the sabotage fighter I love that ship

What I mean is drop the fighter escort and replace it with the willo

what the hell are u talking about spacetrace?
first of all,why we have to give you some ships?
if you take the sabotage fighter, so the cerberus too... and you are planing put the new ships in the tec tree? i think they only will exist in those planets MOMENTANEILY, i am not agrre with anybody, if you want put ships in the tec tree put them, without take another one, try to balance it, you are the admin so u dont need any aprobation, you can't take a ships already done, because always that will have some fans.
And you say the warcrusero is the WORST ships class 3?, man maybe i am talking bullshitss, but supously anyships is bad, all depends of the battle situation.
the warcruser has 200 life pts, so only the warcruser, or cloude and shockwave cruseir, can destroy it, because if you put 7 warcrusero and a major, the warcrusro always will survive, if the ships statics are right...also by the ships stactics you can say the bestes ships in this moment class 3, is warcrusero, aftre dread and crusero.why?
because some player have a lot of apollos or cyclops, or both, and the warcrusero is perfect for destroy it and without posibility of reconstruct someone, also is the bestest ships class 3 for use after an attack with doomstar, if you havent clone labs, and you have 1 mother and 1 doomstar, and another mother, there left 2100 p, you can use it in 35 crusero, but you dont know if you will destroy a shipyard or research center, because the enemy can has a transwarpnetwork,defensivearray,holo relaystation,coredriver...so if you make 21 warcrusero that seems anti TWG or HRS.
ihave to say i even didnt research it, but i know is usefull.
the disable ship in those momets isn't a good ships but always is usefull.
fighter score, with penguins, bulk fighter eternity device, sporator... man so many combinations
and stop put new changes in the game that isnt making better the game, BTW you said this sometimes... maybe the new ships has some bugs, and that is true, i'll show you that in the bug reports, so why put someones in the tec tree?...

Whoa, easy boy.

Try reducing the size or your post, so we can all deal with details. Your posts are just a weeny bit difficult to understand sometimes.

For what it's worth I agree with the basic tenet of your post. I see no reason why ships should be added at the expense of nice ships already here. Nor do I see any great hurry.

But I also think putting some new ships on planets is a nice option, already I can see, some are much more popular than others.

And it seems the good ships are mostly the most popular.

NO. plasma gun ship for deconstructor, cause mycelloids should have a new ship too.

don't worry .. i welcome this discussion (and it is the only way to find out things about the balance of the game AND your feeling about ships) ... and it is really quite real, because i often dispute about thing in real life too...

but!!!.. i have a goal for the tec tree and i will surely change some thing, because i know that the game needs a shift away from the popular fleets.

every fleets needs a counter fleet, so .. there are some that have barely a true opponent. and this will be changed.

rubens: thx that you like on of our first inventions : the warcruiser, but i think the humans have other/better ways to deal with the missions you described (base flattening/ dealing with class3 -fleets), . but think of a dreadnaught / support frigate fleet

stalker: it MAKES sense to change some things some time; but your thoughts on the ships system have a great weight and i will surely not ignore them

jam: i hope not to hurt your feelings...(i thought that we just started complaining ) to find out what's needed.. this game is in many hands ... in the players hands.... i thought of doing it slowly enough to make the game core (ship system ) razor sharp .
anyway, i think most things are elaborated enough...

support frigate for warcruiser
deathadder for holo relay station
plasma gun ship for disable ship

here another suggestion:

kinetic deflector shield for graze reactor

(usefull against eagles and other small ships, but not so selfdestructive like the graze reactor)

yes i think this hits most of the weak ships, and i don t understand the sabotage fighter very well i think it is rather weak compared to the mine deployer

the first ship is included . now the next:

plasma gun ship for disable ship

for this i would change the mp of the pgs to 95:

class 3 ; 0/100 ; kills one class 3 ship ; 95 mp

When the support frigate will be added, is that the next ship?

They are almost gone of the pre warp planets.

Must there be a replacement for everything? I rather keep the ships and just add on to the ships that we can build. That create more vararity. I think all these uneccessary changes are having a bad effet on Spacetrace. Remember round VI? We had so many members that we didn't have enough room for new people. Over 500 i think. Now look at it. wat...almost 300?
I read that you have a lot of webspace left so why not leave some of the ships?

Each Standard Cruiser can destroy 1 Torpedo
Each Dreadnought can destroy 100 of them
Each Shock Wave Cruiser can destroy 30 of them

Most of the Fleet have atleast 10 Cruisers and only cost 600 MP but can stop the Torpedo of 10 WarCruiser that cost 1,000 MP!!!
