there are some strange discussions at the time:

i am unfair because i corrected a bug that caused 999999 points , args what shall i do else ???

and some other stuff.

you should stop that. if you are bored just do something useful for the game:

- post some adverstising
- invite friends
- write some nice stories/role plaing posts
- invent some cool ships
- help a noob to understand spacetrace

and many other stuff. if you don`t like spacetrace , just leave .

No it's unfair that you close a topic about the issue. It was not like anyone was threatening to leave the game or calling for you to shut it down. You guys just don't get it do you. I can handle the point thing, but you idiots just have to keep attacking me for complaining about it and stating my reasons why I think I should have kept them. Some players agree with my arguments and some don't. Don't know how many each way because the topic was closed. I can see points to your argument and understand your point of view on the point issue, but there are issues about it that made me disagree with it. All you do now is just keep throwing out little snide remarks because you don't seem to know how to argue the issues.

this is a moderated forum and a private page.
whenever the administration thinks a topic should be closed , they will do so .

there are several things that can lead to this. one of them is when the administration feel offended or fooled by players that cannot deal with a decision.

this is a private page and you should trust the adminstration that they do the best to work for this game and keep it fair for all players.

this is the goal of the administration because we inveted this piece of science fiction art, we pay for it , we work for it and we play it.

but i guess you know how pages are moderated in the www and that this is naturally like this.

You and the game are judged by how you moderate this forum. I did not threaten to leave the game because of the point issue. You are right, this is your decision to make and I would not have quit the game over that issue or your decision. about decisions:

it would be best if there would be nothing to do for the admins. but there are bugs sometime , i am sorry for that, but it is not avoidable.

i know that single players may be angry with a decision, but in the end i must decide (for the game) that way, so i take the risk to make someone angry, but i hope that they calm down.

so i hope that aelon will understand this (and continues playing)

i welcome this discussion as it shows the dilemma of being a moderator of game where rule-decisions must be done. you see the final goal if to judge that way that noone will be given an unfair advantage.

anyway... this is really a playground, but with a public interest. the final responsibilty is ours but the public (your) pressure is a mighty factor.
all important decisions/evolutions of the game are discussed in the forum but we must not forget all the silent players in the background and must decide for them too.
