Well ,the idea is that n00bs who register at Spacetrace mostly dont have the idea of what the game's about!!!
There're always some questions about basic things like "how do I battle", "can I colonise planets" and all that stuff!
That's not the only aim of this topic. The idea is: How can I show the n00bs who've just logged in that it takes a little time to understand the game and that if they do understand the game, they're able to have the fun they want to have when they're thinking about to registering to the game.
The next step is to help them to understand the game (tutorial).
I ask you to message me your ideas or opinions as an ingame message.. to "The fastest run of Rincewind".
Thx, Rince

i like the idea!!!
i remember when i started to play that i made many motherships, because i though they were more powerfull.
Basics things like mp, lp and ap have to be explained.
So, it is important to explain the function of every class, and how to take advantage of ussing them.
For example, to teach the fight order, like when you fight fighters vs. destroyers, or a simple battle example...

i think the idea is fine BUT
when i first played i built a lot of cuisers for the same reason as liderant building motherships. however, i found the best way to learn the game was to study the manual and fight to gain experience. THEN
you ask specific questions.

No, a tutorial is not what I want with this topic. It may be the next step....
They should just feel a hug when they register (not personally, just with words ) and they should get some hints how to get started and where they can find n00b helps etc. (I think its enough in the forum and in the manual of that stuff).
