I have an idea for spacetrace.
What if every alliance has a alliance driver. Yhis is a ship what can be used by the cow of the alliance.
this ship has warp 50 and can only by the player sin the alliance. It is a sort of bus. For example:
Player A will be attacked, player B has ships, but is at his planet far away.
Player C is the cow and has the alliance driver. To help player A, player B has to come fast to the base player A. That's why player C (the cow) send the alliance driver to player B. When the alliance driver is at the base of player B, than player B can set his ships (with mothership) in the alliance driver. Than the cow send the alliance driver to the planet of player A. When the alliance driver is there, player B must set his ships outside the alliance driver, before it can fight. If not and the enemy destroys the alliance driver, than the complete fleet will be destroyed too. So if a full fleet is in the alliance driver and both will be destroyed, a player can score about 10 k points.
The alliance driver can only travel between alliance planets. When the cow send it to player A, the alliance driver has to reach the planet of player A, before he can change the coords to an other planet. So not send it to a planet and than 1 minute later change it in an other alliance planet.
The alliance driver cost about 5000 points and has 1000 life. It is a class 4 ship. It can be shoot by other players (outside the alliance). The alliance driver has the same attack code as the planets. So it can not fly on defense.
This ship is nice to help other players of your alliance. Yes i know we have the TW and there is a MTWG, but this is nice for defence, so everybody can protect each other. And i think it will give some extra suprise. |

I like the idea.
But I have a few questions!
In big alliances this would be a very powerful defence weapon.
What happens to small alliances and one man players/alliances.
I think that this could be a big step back for these players.
Big alliances are unattackable (I invented a word I think) and small alliaces will loose points.
I don't know about the idea!

Oh sorry, i just saw i forget my name in the topic.
I was forget that i post this topic.
But about 1 player alliance, they can't use it. Because who can defend a 1 player alliance? He has no other players in the alliance, so nobody can help him.

This would be like an express train on occasions when even the TWG is too slow. It does give the more active players an advantage I think.

Yes, mabey it is to similar to the TW. But when a player will be attacked many times and his TW is destroyed. And he ha smore incomings, than this will help good. And it give some extra action, because the cow have to deside to send or not. If there is a small fleet at the ally base, than you can send the alliance driver. But is the fleet of the enemy to big, than there is a risk to loose everything. So this will give an extra effect for both sides. For the ally, you can defend each other, but you can loose many points.
For the enemy, he can now loose the battle and can not destroy the base, but there is a chance by miss calculating of the cow, that the enmy score many extra points. Now the cow need more skills, because the cow will send the alliance driver. If the cow makes a mistake, than the cow can loose 5 k points and an other alliance player can loose 5 k points too.
So the players has to trust the cow.
