In the course of searching for Booty to pillage, I have discovered a new sort of farm.
Lets call them booty planets.
Rather than be greedy and just claim the booty myself, I thought we could all name them here so everybody had a chance at some booty. No co ords of course.
The main thing about these planets is they all seem to have about 80 cruisers and no motherships.
Here is one for your digestion.
base from Hero of Jupiter 3
2 4 82 4
XXX/XXX/XX
Finders please post as well.
Cheers Space Ghost.

Maybe he is new to the game, and only concerntrate on defense instead offense. Maybe he is waiting until ships have been research before lauching his attack.
Consider that.

I've seen a few of these Booty planets, brought upon quite a fascinating story..
I guess doomstar is right.. that they are trying to defend themselves.
I found a planet that was 4-5-81-4 , so i just sent a bunch of kami's over to wipe it out and naturally scored pretty big..
then again i had him on my DSP with 5-5-42-4 , so i thought what the hell.. i'll go wipe it out again..
So once again i send a load of kami's etc.. and when i get there, it's no longer cruisers but cyclops's.. hence i lost pretty big time^^
i have had a few battles with the same person since.. and each time his fleet setups get a little smarter, mixing up ships etc.. cuz he knows i'm coming for him
so i don't beleive that they are farms..
just n00bs that think that bigger ships are better ships.

The only time you are able to conclude with certainty that a planet is a booty planet is having 4 or more motherships.
As Shade demonstrated, some people prefer defense over offense. |

Yeah i have encounter one of these too and he's only 700 ly away =) I've attack him probable 8 times and he keeps the same ships. Logs on about 1 times a day. His fleet is always 4/0/86/3 The 3 is the base. Crazy? I think so. But fun!!!

no i think that shade is right. most of them are problie just very inexperienced. i don't think they are actually concentrating of defense or whatever. when i first started the game, i thot that cruisers were the strongest ships too (didn't understand class battles yet) |

I've spotted a few of these myself, but I usually don't attack them. There is no honour in fighting noobs, I prefer a seasoned opponent.

I have nothing to hide or cover for.

I once encountered two fools who kept sending fleets of cruisers to my base. That was good for me, I have penguins. They kept doing that FOUR times. after that the just dissappeared.
