It is with a heavy heart that as leader of the Privateers alliance, I Deathstalker of Mistworld must hereby declare that as of this moment a state of War exists bettween us and the Nazgul alliance.
Why do you ask?
Well most of us in the alliance were quite happy to play out this round simply with a little bit of friendly buccaneering and peaceable bootie gathering.
However, this was not good enough for the Nazgals.
For several days many of our members have been subject to repeated (if mediocre) attacks by Nasgill stormdraintroopers.
Taken in itself, this would not be enough to provoke us, however considering the nasgals own irc channel topic -: | Quote: | | ChanServ- Last topic: War to privaters! I think it is a given that a state of war exists in spite of our peaceable nature.

This poisonous posse of pimply popinjays? This addled offspring of the more odious junior spacemen of the abc? Not content with hanging around game stores dressed like Hobbits, they seek to make war on their betters.
We shall see.

Any time now I'm sure we will be hearing from kamikaze and Gorthmog, flaming all over the place again.
To save time and brainpower, why not reopen the old Borg topics and edit your posts to say "Privateer" in the place of "Borg"? |

Of course, Stalker, this refers to the Nazgul, who will likely create Privateer jokes and poems, and perhaps begin an Anti-Privateer Coalition.
Maybe even Dutchbatter can try to infiltrate The Privateers, like that beautiful plan they hatched against the Borg! Dubious, intelligent tactics such as these make me shudder. |

I feel more for an Anti-Nazgul Coalition, and you are happily invited Passchendeale. An Anti-Privateer Coalition will never make it because they can't even spell our name right.
