What do u think?
If u are in alliance u should be able to see full battle reports of ur alliance members.
Benefits:
- better info on alliance enemies tactics.
- spy could finally have some function, other then reading msg-s.

im agree with Lou of East from West, and add something interesting to the game, if i spy you with some ship and i can see the alianse complete br i know how attack and i know the name of the enemies of that alianse, they can be a good "tool" to destroy that alianse... |

@BladeTech: Such alliances will not prosper from that. Ask Phantom (We are Bjork) how he liked borg CoW screen. I used Borg-express, and most horfying thing was to click "Alliace incomings". From this will prosper smaler alliances, where enemy don't evolve to much, exepct for few gang-bangs, from time to time.

I like the idea, besides, it has two MAJOR advantages:
1.) If you and an ally are attacking someone, you don't have to wait for the message of the *how-did-the-attack-go* which usually arrives 10h afterwards /Murphy's law /
2.) You can essentially track down a *doubt* on a member whether he likes motherships too much
But, I don't think that ALL Br's should be visible to all of the alliance; It's not always desirable. So, instead, a simple *tick-switch* :
Show BR's to alliance yes/no in the HQ-screen.
If yes, simply send an alliance-round message containing the BR. /Or even just the ships in the start, and, ships in the end of the battle/.
That way, it won't require too much programming - just the switch, the alliance-rounds exist

The borg fleet screen was a nightmare, lou is right on that score. |

well nice on Met. What I had in mind was this:
Alliace -> History
There is on link on "battle", so when u click it u get right battle report.
U can't un-share br. U MUST share br in alliance (for the time being in it).
U have nothing to hide. Unless u are a multy.
if u are a multy u have no rights.

Well, for an alliance such as Borg there is not necessary to show ALL of your BR's... On 2nd thought, why the hell would you want to pollute the messages of your allies with attacks that basically don't concern them
Though, I think that the CoW must have access to ALL the BR's of the alliance - that's his job after all - to know all and lead all sucessfully in battle - I think that the rest of the members should have access to only what you want them to, otherwise there will be a major FLOOD of BR's in big alliances
Either way, I'm for the alliance-BR sharing
Another way, of course, is to have a separate way of sharing BR's -> not through alliance-rounds, but as a separate link, and yeah, a summary of each battle concering basically what the enemy has left after it... That'll require more programming I think - the way of summarizing the BR's
Nevertheless... I'm for BR sharing no matter in what way it will be done - it's really necessary

i agree with you Lou about the great hassle it would make but it also would be a big advantage to those big alliances if they've got the patience. think about the possibilities of finding targets and stuff. made so easy by this. surely big alliances would take advantage. incomings and stuff are hassles but also doesn't provide a person with much benefits. this alliance brs will though. i still like the idea nonetheless. there just should be some limitations.

hmmm
"Alliance qurantine"
I like it!
That would be nice, those memebers wouldn't have access to vital information like brs (tactic info), and u could exclude them from alliance-round-messages.
Admins, as usally are quiet.

but the person don t know he s being quarantined. also good if the MoC sees everyone's messages and chooses who receives alliance round messages!!! and CoW chooses who has access to alliance BRs

with first:
I AGREE! YES!
MoC need screen!
And who cann not see alliance round cannot see br's.
I think MoC's task is to maintain aliiance integrety, along with Leader of course.
so MoC dicide info around his alliance.
Why?
simple:
MoC is Minister of Comunication of his alliance.
comunication = diplomacy = espionage = counter-epionage
CoW is hendling wars, directing where and how should attack be made, by 2-3-4 fleets...
MoC id hendling integrity, so CoW know that he will not be screwed-up from his members.

The MOC can deside who can see the br's and receive the alliance round messages.
But the MOC, COW and the leader will always receive all alliance round messages and can see always the br's. So the MOC can not cancel the leader and COW.
