battle details:modifies AP and LP by -5000/-5000 of itself in your own fleet in class 1, there are no known ships and buildings that survive this effect.
(battle engine syntax: obliterate,self,all,1,itself)
trigger_obli it creates 1 destroyer in your own fleet in the class it belongs and the created ship will stay in that fleet after battle.
(battle engine syntax: ,self,1,stay,destroyer)
The serpent is a standard destroyer but your dsp shows a fighter. It´s just a destroyer, with the signature of a fighter.
Quote:
obliterate,self,all,1,itself
1.) All serpents vanish.
Quote:
trigger_obli@create,self,1,stay,destroyer
2.) And reappear as plain, simple destroyers.
It´s like a combination of a class 1 jammer and an invisible destroyer. No, it has nothing to do with a jammer, but there is no other signature faking ship in ST.
Example:
You scan a 500/1/1/1 fleet.
"Oh, nice target for my 5 dreads and 20 cruisers. Easy points! "
You look at your BR.
"WTF? I lost 2575 points? Arg, Serpents! I hope he doesn´t send his remaining 450 destroyers to my homeplanet. "
P.S.: When i invented this ship i thought about giving it some trigger_0_effects to make the "decloaking" secure, but then i thought that the risk of loosing 100 serpents by the disruptor carrier wave of a cyclops would give it a little more character/diversity/fun and you can explain this effect by a vulnerability during the state of hibernation (low metabolism).
