A player should be able to intercept a fleet in space in he goes at a same coordinate in a certain moment.

for instance, a fleet is on 400/400/40 and his target is 500/500/50 so this fleet has to get trought 450/450/45 so if i had a fleet right there or a fleet that goes trought the same coords in the same moment i could be able to intercept and fight this fleet; that way trace probe would have a little bit more sense and give chance to design ships that avoid interception and will make the game more active somehow.

there is no way to know if the route you are taking is secure (or if it is going to remain secure) so if you take a long ride there is a long probabilityes that your fleet not arrive whit all the ships, OR NOT ARRIVE AT ALL

also this way the mantis will be VERY powerfull, imagine if you can put a mantis alone in the way of somebady who is going to attack your planet, he will never arrive

but maybe the admins can invent a class 4 ship like the mother but faster whit the drawback that the fleet whit this ship can be intercepted because this ship don't travel whit hyperjump and reamin all the travell in normal space, what you think?

for now
did u notice that battles happen only when one of players is active?
So battle must be triggered, by active players (on-line). The even that do battle is "Scan for battles...
So not only u should know interception point, but also time, you should be able to "Scan"... in split of sec. that u two are in same sector!
