Instead of one set of coords for a fleet have 3 (or more) sets that you can enter. When the fleet arrives at the first set it will fight anyone there, then move on to the next set of coords. Maybe allow a delay. You would enter the first set of coords, and in a box next to it a number of minutes {or you could set a time based on the game clock}. After that many minutes {or at the assigned time} the fleet would warp off to the next set of coords and repeat.

How would it be cheating? Especially if it was part of the game and everyone could do it?

I think that is a very good idea I hate it when my fleets will arrive somewhere at 9:00 AM, and I am stuck at work all day with no access to a computer.
I also think that it would be nice to select your next research, too.

I like it! Some of us work all day and can`t make attacks until when we are off. Who wants to leave their fleet at some planet all day.

Or perhaps a programmable mothership. It would probably be quite expensive, though. |

One ally attack you with Com-Invader.
Or an enemy attack you with Com-Invader.
Is the same thing

@blackmagic: I invented the deconstructor to do this, but you still have to rebuild your fleet. SO it returns the manpower, but not the fleet itself. |

He means the pirate flagship does a similar job to the deconstructor, so all races can build something that does that job.
There was a ship invented (the boomerang), which was designed to return a fleet to its point of origin after battling at the co ords it was sent to, Admin told me this was too hard to program. The deconstructor was added to the game for this (and other) purposes.

this was the first discussion:

i think it is more interesting if you have a fight with someone hat the fleets dont disapear the second after the battle (if that player is not online)
and: it is very much work to program that and the effect for the game is not that big |

Com-invader is the best option to return you whole fleet.
Or
Connected evey hours to check it.
When the mission of KILL is finished, return you fleet to the base or to an ally base.

I like the idea plus I would like to be able to recall a fleet in transwarp back to base and have it return transwarp. |
