Humm.
I some situations.
The Doomstars is for destroying great fleets.
The Eagles is for have a great fleet.
The Troika is for x the target.
The Prophet is for destroy Doomstars, Buildings or ships that are harder to destroy in an simple combat.
The Scout is a excellent tecnology searcher from Prewarp Planets.
The Carrier is created to prepare your fleet for 2 battles.
The Dreadnought is excellent for every battle situations, except fighting Doomstars, but excellent option to use.
These ships are my favorites, but some of these ships i don't have used, like the Doomstars but i have experienced it.
The Doomstars is excelent for every battle situations except one like this...

| I would say the BEST ship is a doomstar, because you can gain about 2500 from it, which is the highest points you can gain with any existing single ship. |

That battle report is coming from a multi.
Seen that multi don't have experience.

Every ship is the BEST - according to a situation... There isn't a single BEST ship - otherwise there would be only one ship in the game... And there isn't a WORST ship - otherwise it won't be in the game...

But the mantis is the ship you can gain the most points with it Think of a mantis against 15 motherships (the maximum of motherships) at a base with a transwarp gate. You'll get more than 2500 points from it.
And with this ship you can only lose 670 points. (mothership + mantis)

No my friend, if you wanna go so unrealistic there are way better ships that won't destroy them self after killing them motherships and will give you more points, but i don't think you'll ever have to fight 14(th most) motherships anyway

try attacking with buncha crusers, or even fighters, eagles what ever you want, a guy with 14 mother ships doesnot have any mp to make any class 1,2,3 ships. so any class ship will start attacking them motherships and destroying them without losing anything
