what about a smaller holo-carrier:

0/1 ;5mp ;generates 2 fighters-,one destroyer- and one cruiser-holography

( onr only 2 fighters-,one destroyer-holography)

the warcruiser is better- but leave it (180) /120 as alse there are other ships then cruiser having a drawback against the warcruiser...

the new holoclone will not work: or i ll tell wizard how his new defence fleet will look like: 1/0/0 for 5 mp very good

maybe make it 500 mp instead of 640 mp...?

As a former mycelloid, I am not so fond of ships with a non-stadard defence. (As they are non-repairable).

What about an upgraded troika?
The ship remains the same, but on enemy probe data each troika is seen as a dozen of ships.
So a fleet with 10 destroyers and 5 troika's detected by a probe :
0/70/0/1
Is this programmable?

1)well i though of ships changing the probe data before...

but this makes combat to a gamble...
--> maybe it works if only one race has such a ship???
-> but such a ship should be rather expensive if available for all players...

2) bout the warcruiser:

i just thought about missiles which are not so very good allready but if the warcruiser has mopre armor they become even worse...
--> so warcruiser (180)/200 but missles have 18/1 or have 14/2 ( i like the second best - but maybe the nanites would like that )

1) Sorry, didnt wanted to steal your idea.
But I never read it anywhere.
-> It would make more 'poker play' possible.
-> I think the troika is rather expensive.

2)Maybe warcruisers will become to good in combination with disable ship.
Isnt a missle already more a decoy then an attack 'ship' ?
I dont like 14/2 missles.

1)dr. merlin has so much inventions but he allways forgets to present them to the scientific journals...


2)yes good combination - but not worth the disable ship yet...
yes the m-l is no attack ship - but i think in the first it was meant to be one - no one saw that its no good for attack ... luckily dr. zyklop found out another use for it
--> but i like the m-l to become a senseful attack ship again...

but s.t. should be done about the m.-l.

wow, dr.merlin lost his proffessor-rank!!!!

(seems the oz'ian university-politics is quite rigorous )

by the way, i think the 200 armor solution is ok.
and the 17/1 missile is ok.
( the defensive fleet with 2 ml is easy to beat with the disabler)

What about opening ancient topics, this is from the very first round.

Missiles have to be 1 lp so they can be killed by shockcruisers.
