Era

An Era lasts 100 days. at the end of an Era all Alliance scores are reset to Zero. After a few days of pause in between a new Era starts, and is named after the winning Alliance of the last Era.

Era's are also (ironically) an era in themselves, in the 3 Era's of Spacetrace, Rounds, Evolution and Era's.

After the rounds stopped, and the era of Evolution began, some alliances started getting ahead by much, and had such a large lead that new alliances could not catch up. This resulted in a compromise between Rounds and Evolution; while a planet would still work according to the rules of Evolution, Alliance scores would be reset at the end of each era.
