I think is cool, I't can't move alone and is a good Idea if you wanna go on vacation and you don't wanna recycle your entyre ship, don't took so much time, but maybe will be for all razes.

I don't see why it has to be a Mycilloid technology, that's out of flavor.
I think all races should be able to use it, but if it has to be exclusive of one race, it should be e-rays, remember they are related to light and, for that reason, they should have more cloaking stuff.

What you say limsky is true, and I agree, but I don't think that giving other races ships that have more "e-ray flavor" (or any other race flavor, for that matter) is the best way to solve the problem.
I feel cloaking should be mainly an e-ray ability and that there are other thousands of posibilities of giving other races better ships without taking cloaking away from the e-rays.
Each race can be good in their own way without using abilities that belong to other races (those who play Magic the Gathering will understand exactly what I mean). I believe that focusing on keeping some stuff exclusive to each race improves the game.
Anyway, that's just my oppinion.

Besides, I don't think that having a way to cloak your planet for such a low cost is fair.
It seems to me that if you want to protect your planet by cloaking it, it's fair that you have to sacrifice a lot of MP, that way you avoid having people that has a decent size fleet attacking around while they don't worry about their planet because it's cloaked.
If that's gonna happen, I think it'll be fair that all races have available that huge advantage (as I sayd in my first post).

I think is good, but I think too ALL the cloak generators can be taked out with the decloaking probe...
