Is there any point on combining Shield Generators with Spectres, now that Spectres' defense has been reduced to 10 and that way can be destroyed with only 1 attack of a destroyer?
(I still don't understand SG quite well) |

with 20 lp the spectre was combinable like this:
1 spectre
5 shield generator
and it was possiblr to let it survive against 100 destroyers
now you need at least a combination like this:
1 spectre
5 shielgenerator
3 plasma emmiter
only with sg it will be lost againts simple destroyers |

and I cant build spectres  anymore anyway.
@lotus that makes the spectre a better option for the kazuula than the race it is specific to.

No, it is less might than it was, you have to use more care using it than before is all. It was always possible to shoot them (I did and had mine shot as well)
basically if the enemy has 800 + fighters it is worth having I guess.

I don't think so...
There are still a few misguided souls in outer space who build 4000-5000 fighters, and to take em'out you just need a spectre& a motherhsip and nothing more...

The ship is injured only when it's not killed  ... But since the Spectre has 10LP and the Destroyer 10AP it doesn't work... It works vs. troikas though, cause the module does just 4 damage...

but if they also have only one cruiser and your spectre is destroted , you lose 800 points. but if the enemy has that many fighters, then it is still worth it i guess. =)

I didn't get that - you loose spectre if the enemy has a cruiser?!
