Why don't you like to be bored?
That's really strange, isn't it
Normally the time between two rounds is about one or two weeks.

we will need about two weeks to test new ships and plan out the new tech-tree.
so about the 10th of Jan. the next round will start.

@Bean: for you not to get bored, we could need some help. there will be a lot of work to do: you could help us to improove the texts in the manual for example. there are a lot of new features, that are not described by the manual jet: (CoW, MoC, the races structure...)
and the n00b-Help texts at the bottom of each page could be improoved too (you can see them if you log in as the guest-account)

Good afternoon my question is the following one: if you begins a new round in the second week of January, will we begin with our same planets with everything from zero, or do we have to create new planets?. I ask this, because I began 2 months ago in this game and i didnĀ“t know that will finish this game in some moment, not even know that it had rounds.

If you want to you can keep your old player and planet name (you'll have to type in your password to take it, so no one else can have it) but your planet will have different coordinates.

yes, it is like this.
all player and planet names of this round are reserved for the next round, so noone can use the name of someone in the last round. (unless that one deletes his old account)

this game is running in rounds, because this way everyone can start over with the same chances. if it would run forever, then it would be impossible for new alliances to reach up to the top alliances.
another reason is that new ships in the tech-tree and other changes in the game can only be introduced between two rounds
