as i posted before, we thought of something to make st finally a grand strategy scifi game ( )

the goal is to make st overall a strategy game. the current score system is kind of self-referencial.

so here is the proposal:

there will be a resource needed for travel: crüstalite (CRÜ)
every jump that exceeds 1sec. needs 1 crü.
every jump with max. 1sec. is free (micro jump)
it is always free to jump to the home base (sub space calibration beam - insert typical spacetrace explanation here )

every home base produces like 3 crü a day. but you can only store up to 9 crü.

every colony produces crü and they will be stored there.

the "score planets" will produce crü, but they will not be stored, you need to stay there to collect them.

crü will be stored in ships (class4), (crü-tanker) which can be stolen just like the chrono pods : by destroying them.

the traditional score will still be counted, but should be named "battle experience" - i will only be made in space battles. there will be no more "score plantes"

also the convoy system can be used for crü tankers (if you havent tried out chrono pod mining... you should ) it is quite handy - you can send crü tanker convoys between colonies & home base - and maybe from colonies/base to deep space locations in the future.

the winning conditions for a round should be which alliance has the most crü. (at the time the round ends)

battle experience could be used for some things - i haven't figured out yet.
maybe fleet commanders accumulate BE, or it is needed for higher tec?
it will still be recorded and there will be stats about it,

this is just a proposal - pls comment this, as it would change quite some stuff - every resource is always a limitation, and this would limit something that was available for free before. but normally limitations will bring tension:

i found at least one problem:

if the winning condition is: which alliance holds the most crü

then mass recruiting (or fake accounts) will spoil the statistics.
