I dont like the name, but I couldn't think of anything else at the time. I will though.

This ship is really useful when encountering "anchored" fleets. (fleets that have no c4) In particular it is good against anchored Penguin fleets. (Penguins only recycle, like they are suppost to, if there is a c4 class battle)

the penguin recycle thing is considered as a bug and will be fixed for next era. (sorry for that dear penguin lovers )

penguins don't recycle if there is no c4 battle.

i know to us oldies its more of a feature than a bug, but i agree it should be changed to penguins always recycle. it will greatly reduce their effectiveness, but i think its for the balance.

nah, wouldnt work as intended. This has a very narrow use. You dont want the opponenthave more class 1 if its a penguin fleet.

Well, really, if it was added to the H-Gen v1.0, it would combat the problem of non-recycling Pengs, BUT, it would then be a C2, which opens a whole new bucket of worms. (You may remember my opinions on "anchored" fleets) That stirs up familiar feelings in me; like it's catering to anchored fleets. Like penalizing a person for the OPPONENTS LACK of C2, C3 and C4, because if you attack an anchored C1 fleet with a fleet of all classes, your c2, c3 and c4 wont get a turn. Only if you leave your C1 empty. Thats really what I was trying to target with this invention. It was originally going to create Holo-Destroyers and do for C2 combat what the current Holo-Gen does for C3 combat, but, while I was creating it, I sort of figured I could kill two birds with one stone and still achieve my desired results just by making it project a C4 instead of C2. Actually, thinking about it further, if anything, it would actually do the job of the v1.0 aswell, all in one package.

Maybe it should replace the v1.0? That way there isn't a need for multiple niche ships, and likewise, you would only have to add ONE ship of the same nature to the other side of the race wheel.

It feels like your (spacetrace) suggestion comes in lue of the recycling Peng discusson, like you're trying to save that mechanic/bug by tweaking the Holo-Gen. Which isin't nescessarily a bad thing, that is entirely up to ya'll. I totally understand it's one of those little features you guys have come to really like and I certainly don't want to be the one to ruin it for everyone. I posted my opinion on that in your new poll thread.

didn't saw the hg is class 2 ...

it should be class 1 , making 10 holo cruisers and one holo ms.

That and, shouldn't there should be a similar ship for the races that cant research E-Ray tech? Maybe I will invent that now.

if there are no vetos i would add the modified holo generator to the tec tree (science recycle methods) at the end of the era.
