Since the feature was introduced, I think I seen it work for me one time, and that was when I was in an alliance by myself.. Since joining up with a new alliance, Probe data in the "Bulletin" page doesnt appear to me. It doesnt show up when my allies post their probe-data, and it doesnt even show up when I post the data myself. Not sure if anyone else has had the problem (havent asked) but I do, and it is a shame because that is an awesome feature!

Using IE8 on Windows XP (old, I know...) and using the "standard" lay-out. You guys prolly know that by now, though.

I've done that everytime I check. It always says "No probe data" or something along those lines.

[correction] It says "no message yet"

Yes, I have tried to post data several times using this icon found in the Probe-Screen:

Even so, I consistently see no probe data (the other data appears just fine) on my 'Bulletin', even when I select the 'Probes' checkbox:

Thats what I'm thinking. It seems the older lay-outs cause numerous little bugs with more and more newer coding.

can you try to change to the old style and see if the probe data will show then?

yes many little odds there, that could be,
we don't concentrate about the old style, cause onle very few players use it.

we will turn it off as soon as we have the mobile version htttp://m.spacetrace.org running in the new style too

Err.. Was I suppost to switch to the NEW style and see if it works? Not sure who you are talking to there, admin.

If I could say so: Atleast try to keep one of the old styles alive. One beauty of a browser game is they are typically dial-up friendly, as ST always has been. I know its not a problem for most but I use the old style because (even as low-demanding and sleek the new design may be) it is faster for me.

I changed back to 'Float', but it still doesn't show probe data.

I will check the "change" thing. I may have overlooked that.
Sure you can log onto my account. Don't need to ask me for that. Just leave me on "Original" when your done.

[edit] Seems to be working fine now, even in "Original" layout without clicking "Change". Thanks!

This problem has showed back up for me since I have been in SoLo, even when I click 'Change'.

I use the feature (even in an alliance alone) as a sort of snap-shot of fleet setups, so it would be cool to use it again. If it's too much trouble because I use the "Original" layout, then don't stress yourself over it too much.
