Ok this might be a tricky to word but it something that is definitely needed to know for advanced tactics..

Does a modifier and/or damage carry over in a sub-battle?

Example I.) Lets say 10 "Intruders" modify 20 fighters to be 2/1 AP/LP and the class 1 battle ends. If those same fighters were to go into combat against another of the enemy's classes, would they still be 2/1 AP/LP even after the subattle they were modded in ends?

Example II.) Lets say you have a fleet of 1 "Destroyer" and 1 "Mothership and you attack an enemy fleet consisting of 1 "Fighter" and 1 "Destroyer". Your 1 Destroy fights against the Fighter, getting hit for 1 AP but killing the fighter and starting the class 2 battle. Would your Destroyer go into the c2 subbattle with 9 LP or are all values restored at the start of a subbattle?

Thanks in advance. I have a hunch this one is a no brainer but I just want to clarify and perhaps help a noob in the future.

What about a generated shield? Does it carry over? Say a ship is shielded by a "Shield Generator" during the c2 v c2 combat, does it remain sheilded if that ship makes it to c2 v c3, etc?

Upon testing this it would SEEM that generated shields do carry over in class combat.. I deduced this from the following BR:

Quote:
your fleet 1 fights against fleet 1 from e-ray of the simulator at 901/900/90
15.02 08:50:31 - your fleet arrived
13.02 23:49:45 - the enemy fleet arrived

yours: 3 ships
class 1:
1 fighter (1/1, 1 MP)
class 3:
1 cruiser (100/100, 60 MP)
class 4:
1 time slipper (250/500, 1000 MP)

enemy: 3 ships
class 2:
1 destroyer (10/10, 8 MP)
1 shield generator (0/2, 4 MP)
class 4:
1 time slipper (250/500, 1000 MP)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
your class 1 vs enemy class 2: V ^
you:
1 fighter
enemy:
1 destroyer
1 shield generator

1 fighter vs 1 destroyer

1 shield generated
1 destroyer vs 1 fighter

losses:
you :
1 fighter
enemy :
-
score in this subbattle:
-1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
your class 3 vs enemy class 2: V ^
you:
1 cruiser
enemy:
1 destroyer
1 shield generator

1 cruiser vs 1 shield generator

1 destroyer vs 1 cruiser

losses:
you :
-
enemy :
1 shield generator
score in this subbattle:
+4

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
your class 3 vs enemy class 4: V ^
you:
1 cruiser
enemy:
1 time slipper

1 time slipper vs 1 cruiser

losses:
you :
1 cruiser
enemy :
-
score in this subbattle:
-60

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
your class 4 vs enemy class 4: V ^
you:
1 time slipper
enemy:
1 time slipper

1 time slipper vs 1 time slipper

1 time slipper vs 1 time slipper

losses:
you :
-
enemy :
-
score in this subbattle:
0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
summary:
your losses:
class 1:
1 fighter
class 3:
1 cruiser

enemy losses:
class 2:
1 shield generator

score: -57

I repeated this same outcome 3 times and the Cruiser never fired on the Destroyer once it had been sheilded but I could possibly still be wrong. Maybe I was just unlucky and the Cruiser so-happened to fire on the SG instead of the Destroyer. Can anyone confirm this? Was the Destroyer indeed shielded during the c2 v c3 combat in this scenario?

as far as i know, the shielded ships don't reapper during the battle with other classes. they stay shielded until the fight ends.

Well from that BR you can see the Destroyer is there to attack the Cruiser in the c2 v c3 combat, so...
